I know of at least one US promotion where they've appeared recently, so there must have been some kind of allowance for an excursion (this season's LU taping). If it's just for a WWE tournament appearance it would seem odd for Stardom to not let them do that too.

None of the "names" in Joshi mean anything to most American audiences anyway. There are plenty of decent wrestlers who I could see getting the shot. I could see somebody like Hikaru Shida getting over with the NXT crowd.

I can't reply with a spoiler tag: Cheerleader Melissa is the common link between LU and STARDOM. STARDOM participant was a one off and an unique circumstance rather than evidence that WWE could easily book them. STARDOM doesn't like to be on the same cards as women from other Joshi promotions as well. Hence why they don't wrestle at SHIMMER.
