Shortly after I learned to drive I was driving with my mom and we were coming up on a field I knew had horses in it. So when I saw a "horse" from the corner of my eye, I didn't even realise why my mom was saying "Stop stop stop stop!" I did stop, but the moose didn't even break stride, hopped the fence, and then ran across the road directly across my path. But yes, from inside a house 50m+ away, they are amazing creatures.

Usually car+moose results in the moose breaking their legs, and then dropping a ton or two of meat right onto the windshield, pretty much turning whoever is in the front seat into mush.
