Yeah, that's the one. I guess it isn't quite as similar to the Interceptor as I had imagined.

With Wes reroll supportbot you can focus on Wedge for stacked defense and still try to roll into focuses with the reroll.

Would imperial aces or tie interceptor provide more use. IA seems like the obvious choice with two ships, but maybe this soontir fel dude is extraordinary.

I found a B&N with the sale but they were out of every large ship and most rebel stuff.

I only have canyoneyes for you
Push the limit comes in Imperial Aces and the A Wing blister. It's a keystone of 2 of the best imperial small ship builds.

If you want to run the most effective Soontir Fel builds without proxies, you'll actually need both the Int pack and the Aces pack (aces pack has Royal guard title)

This Soontir Fel dude is literally the most fun bastard in the entire game to play. I'm partial because I love his style, but this zippy little chucklefuck loves to dart around the other team's backside and crash into their flank and WRECK THEIR DAY. He takes skill and practice to learn, but when you have that he will reward you with a massive steaming load of gently caress You to unload in your opponent's face. You load him up with Push The Limit, Stealth Device, and Royal Guard TIE + Autothrusters if you have them. He's a little vulnerable to getting a full load of bad luck, but so is everything else.

I like Soontir Fel because he's basically the gold standard by which all other ace pilots are measured. Properly fitted, he gets two actions and a bonus focus every turn. That's a boost and a barrel roll to stay out of your enemy's firing arcs, plus a focus to use on your attack. Or if you can't avoid all the arcs, you use focus and evade to end with two focus tokens and an evade. Coupled with Stealth Device and Autothrusters, he's got super strong odds of dodging enemy attacks. If they try to focus him down, he runs and maximizes his ability to avoid damage. If they ignore him, he runs up into their backsides and blows the crap out of them.

Most efficient 35 points in the game.

I disagree. I don't think it takes a great deal of skill to move last and dodge arcs with both repositioning options available and a free focus.

Carnor Jax takes more skill than Soontir Fel, as does any Interceptor that doesn't move at a natural Pilot Skill of 9.

Here's my quick Ghost review:
The VCX-100 has the best large ship dial for blocking in the game, and the naked generic is cheap and cheerful. That 4 dice primary is gnarly. Systems slot and turret slot means you can do fun things like autoblaster turret + accuracy corrector to turn the ship into a 360 degree range 1 ace slayer.

The Ghost/Phantom title/shuttle combo allows you to perform primary attacks out the rear of the ship, as well as a bonus end of combat attack with a turret equipped on the Ghost as long as the shuttle remains docked.

A popular build (which I like running) is pilot Kanan, Recon Specialist, TLT, Tactician, and your system of choice (accuracy corrector, advanced sensors, or FCS) paired with Biggs. Take a double focus, use Kanan's ability to soften up incoming attacks on Biggs, and fire back with either 4 TLT shots or a 4-5 dice primary followed by 2 TLT shots. It eats anything alive without autothrusters and/or can't stay at range one out of arc.

The crew are all really great too. Crew Hera shows up on generic Lothal Rebel blockers, and crew Kanan is the best choice these days for superdash builds. Sabine crew owns owns owns if you want to bomb stuff, and included thermal detonators are really good too.

Attack shuttles on their own have dials like X-Wings should have had, and can take turrets.

It's a great pack for Rebels.

I love 3 interceptor lists. I'm a fan of Soontir, Turr, and Tetran, all with RG title/SD/AT and the last two with VI to bring them both up to PS9 (Soontir: always PtL). It comes out to 96 points, but there is no free upgrade space left on any of them. Turr is a fun pilot to play, I love boosting/barrel rolling right out of someone's arc after unloading on them at R1.

e: I like to compare the interceptors to Mr Grimm from Twisted Metal. If you're going into a demolition derby, the last thing you'd expect someone to ride in on would be a motorcycle :black101:

There's more to it than that. To get the most out of Fel, you need to be able to predict your opponent's moves and plan accordingly. He's very rewarding if you have the skill to fly him correctly, but mismanaging him screw you up and then he'll vaporize.

To be predicting your opponents moves and planning accordingly is basically "how to be good at xwing," regardless of which ships you're using. Soontir simply has the pilot skill and post-dial options to be very forgiving of mistakes (provided you don't bump, which I'd say is the most important skill when flying Fel), and it doesn't require much skill to boost and barrel roll out of firing arcs after your opponents have finished their ships' activations. Soontir's a glass cannon, in that as long as he isn't facing really nasty turrets, PS10+, or I guess now, Black Market Slicer Tools, he's going to have no problem avoiding most damage, but once he comes up against something he loses to, he loses hard.

TTS crew, I'm having a hard time figuring out new ships in TTS.

I'm subscribed to the auto dial table which shows as updating on 9/16. I'm subscribed to the complete collection which shows as updating on 8/30. The page for the complete collection shows the TIE/sf and ARC-170 as being included (the scum fighter and shadowcaster don't have models yet), but I can't get them into the game.

The google drive link with stuff has auto dials for the /sf and ARC, but not models. Does anyone have those two ships working in TTS?

I've kind of given up on TTS. The last time I tried to get it going last week it crashed every single time someone hit a "remove" or "delete" button on any of the ships or dials. It's in a bad state right now, and they need to figure some poo poo out and consolidate efforts. Meanwhile, Star Wars Armada in TTS continues to work flawlessly.
