I did some back of the envelope calculations and it looks like I've spent at least $40 a month on Rifftrax for the past two years. Not counting the kickstarters. I think I need help.

I have every MP3 commentary (including the Presents titles), VOD, and short (except the Nat Geo titles I recorded off TV) they've ever made. Worth every penny.

I was finally able to see the MST3K reunion show. The Mads short about Kay was great, but Kay was a seriously disturbing girl.

Oh god, we're back in the twisted world of Ted Mikels with The Astro-Zombies!

http://www.rifftrax.com/astro-zombies

quote:

Dead bodies are disappearing and being reanimated as horrible undead ghouls! Who could be responsible? The undercover Air Force investigator? The burlesque dancer? The local mad scientist who has sworn revenge on a society that has forsaken him and even has his own personal Igor? Uh, probably the last one. Why was this even a question?

Reuniting Tom “The Kid” Pace with his Girl in Gold Boots director Ted V. Mikels, Astro-Zombies are neither zombies nor the dog from The Jetsons. The film also stars John Carradine, who aged approximately 92 years in the 28 years between The Grapes of Wrath and this movie. Astro-Zombies is the type of schlockfest that will have you gasping “Wait, how long has this lab scene been going on? They just showed the assistant turning that dial. Wait, now they’re showing it again??”

Note: This RiffTrax is identical to the commentary on the recent DVD/Blu-ray release.

Yes, very unfortunate. Movie audio is too quiet right?
At least rifftrax.com has a better mix. Is Kino Lorber's Two Headed Transplant the same way? They should maybe hear about this.

Yes, you can't hardly hear the movie. Fortunately, I bought the Blu-ray with an Amazon gift card, so I felt better also buying the VoD version. Haven't tried it yet, but I'm glad to hear the mix is better!

Rifftrax has some player options on their site, for supported media types. But basically: No. This would be a legitimately difficult thing to do. If you have or know a decent hand a video editing they could maybe take a crack at it, but like it would take them as long to sync and output it for you as it takes to just watch the movie and sync by hand.
