I see myself a lot in many of the folks involved, even Ben and his obsession with Wing Commander. I've made friends, had really cool experiences, and am probably one of the few backers that Ben, Sandi, and Chris are familiar with because of what I've done instead of how much I've paid. I even got a really good beer recipe out of it thanks to saq. The article is absolutely right that Derek is a really nice guy when he's not being an Internet Warlord. To go from the high of drinking beers with Erin and Eric (thanks again Bootcha) at PAX East to the low of being banned (and the subsequent rebound of Sandi's e-mail chain) has been incredible. Probably the only thing I regret is loving up the encryption on the Vindicator reveal, and even then that turned out well. So how do I feel? Pretty drat good. I can glitch through all the doors as usual, but that's not fun, we've seen it many times.
