I'll just say this: Although all the work there was done with proper pro-tier journalistic integrity the likes of which the games industry barely encounters (which obviously meant completely ignoring conjecture-flinging idiots like us) the visibility given to the project's issues here were an integral part of it getting enough heat to consider covering in the first place. So, in an abstract way, goons still ruined everything, and anyone here who did anything more than a drive-by shitpost (including dearly departed Gorf) should feel appropriately warm inside.

This was quite a read and by the end I just feel that what Derek Smart and CIG/Roberts need to really do is stop wasting their lives going at eachother. They should just focus on their games, they both look cool and they can make those games cool finished products. They each certainly have good reason to be pissed off at one another (I would be on either end), but what a waste of life! It will literally get neither party anywhere, and it's not exactly memories they'd look fondly back on, instead it's wasted time.
