I am like 400 posts behind but 90-Day Fiancé came up and I watched the first half of season one. It is the ultimate trash tv and some of the couples are genuinely sweet and you want to see it work out and then there is my mainest of main men Mohammed. Clearly lying to Danielle about loving her and then he finds out she's lying about being a rich American, glorious.

I've heard of horse faces, but this is ridiculous. I'm not convinced she isn't an agent of the Horse People who convinced the bronies to kill humans in order to bring about the new equine age on Earth. Following the massacre and extinction of humanity, the bronies will transcend their human forms to become godlike ponies.

I used to work at a Subway, and while we couldn't spit in the food, my manager always told us that if we got a customer that was being a dick, we should just hit the "extra olives" button on the register each time they were being an rear end which added something like $0.20 to their bill each time.

If you want to deal with the worst dredges of humanity, sell lottery and cigarettes.

I always thought it was people who had very little actual authority in their own lives, so they make up for that inadequacy by being unreasonably demanding in the few places they can get away with it. I see it when I'm stuck in line at Panda Express where I inevitably get stuck behind a guy that wants to know every loving ingredient in every entree, and micromanages the meat:vegetable ratio of every scoopful.

The wording is weird but it sounds like there is another 17 year old who was detained as part of the murders but being a minor they can't release her information. And of course the news article wouldn't mention anything about brony's so I still doubt the veracity of any of that post.

You think gas station customers are bad, try working at a bottle/can deposit redemption/recycling place. (I now live in MI where they're just part of grocery stores, but once upon a time lived in CA, where they were their own standalone businesses in the middle of parking lots). Pretty much 4 out of 5 customers (the ratio was even higher for regulars) was likely homeless, and definitely had mental problems, most were unwashed, I had more than one try to pick fights with me, not to mention how many thought that because I'm white, I'd automatically agree with whatever racist tripe they'd start spewing. Oh, and nearly every customer would come in with a grin on their face like I was handing out free money. Quite a few were disappointed at just how far a garbage bag of 0.05 dollar cans will not get you. Of course this was MY fault. Also I was left alone with these people all day every day, plus had no environmental protection while sitting on a blacktop parking lot, and I had to regularly wade through sharp garbage. Fun job.

Working customer service at a grocery store, and all of my bosses loved me so I had total authority. If someone became abusive to me or another cashier (it happened a lot to the teenage girls that worked tills, something about 40 year old white men that love getting mad at young women) I gladly exercised my ability to ban someone from the store.

Nothing in retail could possibly be worse than working at Blockbuster Video right after they tried to convince people that they had gotten rid of all late fees, but then still charged "restocking fees". It was like 6 hours of fights with customers per 8 hour shift. The system was actually better but the customers didn't want to hear it because they had it in their heads that they could now keep a DVD for 8 months and never pay anything.

Same sort of thing happened when I was a manager at Office Depot. Middle aged lady threw a fit because I wouldn't return something for the price age paid a year ago and called the cops. They escorted her out of the store. Her husband came storming in looking for me like 2 hours later and threatened me. The police escorted him out too. I just don't get why people think the cops are gonna take a customers side.

On the other hand, I got fired from a convenience store for telling my customers to gently caress off and not giving them my money. Like, they rolled in half drunk or high and would buy a six-pack and some smokes, then beg me for some cash to buy a jar of pasta sauce or whatever for their dinner. Once or twice and you were a regular, then I wouldn't care. But half of my late night customers begging me for a loan? gently caress off, I'm not working here for laughs. My money goes to me, you want to eat, learn to manage your cash assholes. After the manager told me I was fired for "customer complaints", I found out my co-workers gave our customers some of their money to buy food regularly and were hardly ever paid back and they were pissed when I worked and they could'n't get free food or smokes. gently caress every bit of that.
