So instead of heavy bias one way or the other, I tried to approach this with an open mind, since I'm an undecided moderate at this point, though historically a Democrat. I don't have any rad sick hot takes or edgy Twitter responses like some of the others here, but I do think both candidates made good points on both issues. Few thoughts: I'd like to see a combination of their economic plan. Didn't Bill Clinton enact Mandatory Minimums that may contribute to the cycle of repeat criminals? Trump obviously doesn't know much about the Middle East, and that's a concern. He did make a few good points re RoK though. I'm looking forward to the next debates.

Gio posted:The same national networks that have predicted Trump's downfall since as early as last summer? And GOP operatives, eh? They sound important. Are these the same ones that successfully defeated him in the primary? Can you talk a little more about how you think Trump won? Some people measured things like dodging questions and interruptions, which Trump did significantly more of. Do you think those were inaccurate measurements, or that Trump interrupting Hillary was a positive thing? Is there something else you think he did better?

I bet Trump's debate prep team thought spending half a week trying to condition him to not be triggered by the words "Rosie O'Donnel," was plenty of time. I bet whoever didn't want to spend all the time on that is getting fired right now, while everyone else drinks themselves to sleep.

Trump won because "we need to take guns from black people" and "women are too weak for leadership" are basic values many Americans have and we pretend they don't because they are awful opinions. He said the thing. People are voting for that stuff. He said it loud and proud.
