Best in show: Detective Comics Top tier: Superman, Flash, Green Lanterns, New Super Man, Trinity, Green Arrow, Batman Second tier: Wonder Woman, Superwoman, All-Star Batman, Titans, Supergirl, Batgirl, Batgirl BOP, Gotham Academy Third tier: Nightwing, Deathstroke, Hellblazer, Blue Beetle, Action Comics, Hal Jordan GLC, Suicide Squad Tried and dropped: Justice League, Red Hood, Aquaman, Cyborg Not tried: Whatever is left I want to trim my pull list purely for time reasons so some of the third tier are probably going to be getting dropped soon, but really I'm enjoying everything I still subscribe to. The overall quality of the line is remarkably high right now.

It's a continuation, not a new title) Batgirl and the Birds of Prey Wonder Woman's odd issues Green Arrow Supergirl Flintstones Deathstroke All of these I would at least recommend. Wacky Raceland (woulda dropped if the run wasn't cut short to the point where I mine as well finish) Superwoman (really want to drop but the last page reveal is so loving crazy I'll keep reading grudgingly Raven (gigantic mess) Green Lanterns (terrible, dropped) Action Comics (even worse, dropped)

New Super-Man is way more fun than I want it to be. The art is only so-so, but Kenan is pretty hilarious and earnestly written. Strongly recommend.

Night of the Monster Men has been pretty good fun so far. Just cool action with my favorite characters. I'm not saying it's going to be an all time classic making DC crazy money in tpb sales thirty years from now but it's not remotely worth dropping a title over.

drat, am I the only one really enjoying Flash? And completely underwhelmed by Green Arrow? Otherwise I am with the general consensus that Detective Comics, Batman, Superman, even issues of Wonder Woman, and Trinity have been really enjoyable so far.

Honestly I am buying less DC titles than Nu-52, which is weird but it's more to do with cost now. I can't really afford bi-weekly books over monthly books, so I have to trim down what I read. If something gets enough good buzz though I will trade wait though, so while I am not reading Superman or Green Arrow, if I continue to hear good things about those titles I might pick up volume one when it comes out in trade.

Superman is loving wonderful right now. It's somehow balancing the scales between heartfelt family coming of age Americana type story and just balls wild secret moon bases and dogs with eye lasers superhero action. If you give a poo poo about superhero comics you've got to give it a shot.

The only ones I've tried: Batman, All Star Batman, Doom Patrol and Flintstones. I haven't actually read #2 of ASB yet but I like the other three. Gonna try Frostbite and Share the Changing Girl too. Fewer DC books (and no Marvel books) means more indie books.
