anthonypants posted:not just societal benefits but if washington state is anything to go by the prices stay low because there's a single purchaser instead of a ton of tiny ones, which also means any liquor store can source literally anything you want in maine there is a single supplier for all stores and all stores are regulated by the state. what that means is when the liquor supply contract comes up everyone crosses their fingers that the state doesn't gently caress up the contract again.
