The problem with Opie is he co-hosted a comedy show where people riff on each other and is without a doubt one of the unfunniest people with the thinnest of skins. He's everything the enjoyable people on the show hate.

With Opie, the last straw for me was when he got legit upset with Bobo over the phone and Bobo's mom had to get on the phone and talk to him like a child. Ant's a piece of poo poo but he can be funny, I can at least say that. I just won't support him or listen to him. Looking forward to Jim & Sam.

Does the iOS app get higher quality streams than whatever they push through their satellite bandwidth? Because I've been listening to Bennington since they launched it and I've never perceived a difference in quality with the stuff on the O&A channel. Haven't had an in car receiver though for many years. That said I listen to my collection of mp3s (many at 128kbps) on Beats headphones (they were a present, goddamnit), and internet people tell me both of those things sound badly, too. Maybe my hearing just sucks.

The way they'd always talk about it on O&A made it sound like it never worked and always ended up with Opie signing at the last possible moment. I don't think O&A, let alone Opie alone, ever had much pull at Sirius or XM once Eric Logan left.

I about died laughing yesterday with the Sam and Jim show and their half assed lovely car crash sound. It just feels good to have a general atmosphere of shooting the poo poo and everyone being able to laugh at bombs and jokes about themselves again. Sam's just a flat out better host than Opie (at least at this point in each of their careers) and Jimmy is lightning quick as always. They just need someone to replace Anthony's impressions (his biggest strength imo) and they'd be back to the golden days. Oh and Patrice ONeals reanimated corpse.
