Is Nickname chat still a thing? Back on my Crystal cartridge where I 250'd the pokedex, when gen 2 was the only thing, I tried to name every pokemon I caught.

I wound up naming Yanma "Flygon".

Do you think the XY ridiculous expshare would help over-level first stage Pokemon enough that running through the main plot would be viable without grinding? I've got a long list of pokes that I've always wanted to use but don't really like their evos.
1. Spoink
2. Hoppip
3. Corsola (no evo but...)
4.Lickitung
5.Spheal
6. Probably some bugs?

Basically, I want to use cute but weaker mons but still steamroll everything like normal without having to play catch-up all the time.

Feasible?

lickitung was originally a noevo, so they can probably work. also XY is so easy, as long as you're aware of type effectiveness, I don't see how there would be any problems.

For those of you who missed the Darkrai distribution, or could only get one code for one game and not the other until tomorrow if you put in "DARKRAI20" you can get one. The game you registered the previous code with you can't get a second one.

ie) I registered my Darkrai on Omega Ruby so I just used this code to get a second Darkrai on Pokemon Y

Azumarill is doing good work as a bulkier physical attacker. I'm going to try to look into Thundurus counters for my Serperior replacement, since he's everywhere and I don't really have a good plan for him. I should probably be using Thundurus myself as my core special attacker instead of mega Gardevoir, but gently caress genies.

After watching the newest generations, I can say with confidence that Dragonite is extremely baller

It'd still be neat if Dragonair had a branching evo where the other one kept the sleek snake look, but Dragonite is great
