I plugged in my SNES to play Zombies Ate My Nieghbors. poo poo works like a charm but gently caress I'm not good at this game anymore. Soundtrack is up there with DKC, tho. poo poo brings me back.

The DS version has some kinda crap extra content that's not nearly as good as the main game but if i remember right you sort of have to go out of your way to find it anyway. Otherwise the port is great, have fun

i'm actually really impressed with the world and writing so far, i'm about 2 hours in. my only thing is i really dislike real time combat but i hvae it on "wait" mode so i can just select techs if i want to pause and think for a second. otherwise Chrono Trigger actually has a really spectacular combat system, i love the enemy movement and the two-man combos that deal pretty good damage. the last JRPG i played was FFX last year, which has always been my favorite, but its combat is actually considerably simpler than Chrono Trigger seems to be. i also love the Frog character

i'm blown away by how all the little choices you make at the fair in teh beginning of the game matter during the trial scene , it was just so cool and thorough and not telegraphed at all really
