For survival mode, do you guys have any preferred armor mods for followers to wear? Regular armor / clothing has them die pretty fast in any substantial fight.

So I'm a little confused, what version of the .exe are we currently at after these updates and rollbacks and poo poo? is there a way for me to see without launching the game?Gonkish posted:http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18915/ I both love and hate this new trend of adding poo poo to LLs via scripts. Probably no impact if it's something that just runs once at startup and it makes compatibility easier, but then you're kind of at the mercy of their version of LL integration (his spawns at 20) whereas I prefer an unleveled game.

Jarf posted:Immersive Fast Travel: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10157/ If you don't want the overpowering feel of a personal teleporter or vertibird, I can suggest Lone Wanderer Fast Travel. Just a motorcycle that needs fuel, has a few upgrades (like better suspension for allowing you to ride in power armor), and a saddlebag for carrying stuff. Also will apparently need occasional maintenance, though I haven't gotten that far yet. Mod request question: Is there anything that enables break-in attempts in settlements? Not huge bands of raiders, but occasional drive-by scavvers and that sort of thing that can happen in real time? Or should I just find a mod that increases the amount of spawn locations and hope someone wanders by?

Does anyone know what happens if you add a VIS compatibility patch mid-playthrough? Specifically for Raider Overhaul, but I guess this would apply to any mod that needs a VIS patch. Raider-O 11.4c doesn't have a VIS patch yet but it may be coming soon, and I am hesitant to use the VIS patch made for 10.2 (anyone try that?). Are existing items changed/lost? Only new spawns affected?

I started my survival play through, decided to be a cannibal and I got thinking... Since they do the whole "dark hunger" thing, implementing a mechanic where you become a Wendigo would be a pretty nice benefit. Maybe not in this game since they got rid of the karma system, but in the next one (hopefully by Obsidian)? It'd be pretty awesome. Imagine becoming one of these things kind of like a lich/vampire/werewolf under certain conditions.

Seem to be having a small issue with the script extender. If I launch with the f4se.exe I get graphics glitches and my monitor cycles through different colors (red, blue, green, etc). If I alt tab out and in the game shows up as normal so it's not the biggest deal. If I launch fallout 4 normally there are no graphics problems. Running a 6700k, AMD fury and 16gb of ram along with an SSD.
