He's proving that the system is rigged, but it's exclusively rigged in his favor and the favor of people like him. It's a special kind of crazy to think he's going to do anything to improve the system even through burning it all down and letting American start fresh. He's already proven that he's only in it for himself.

It seems like overkill to allow 20 years of no taxes no matter what the loss was. This puts more pressure on him to show he's either paid taxes or acknowledge he's cleared less than a billion in 20 years - during two huge tremendous bull markets during which he should have made buckets of money. I think that would hurt his image more than anything else.

He's already proven that he's only in it for himself. The Washington Post had a good article on this the other day where they even mentioned that this could be great for Trump in the vein of "Of course I gave the Clinton's money, because when I need something they answer the call" in pointing out how the system is broken. quote:If Trump were truly smart — and wanted to lead by example — he would have disclosed his tax returns, showed the loopholes he used, and vowed to close them.

Well, no, even "regular people" can carry forward their NOLs twenty years under Code section 172. The 2/3 year limit is for carrybacks to prior tax years. The thing the article talks about regarding real estate professionals has to do with passive activity losses.

4chan is running out of moneyquote:The infamous message board 4chan is struggling to stay afloat and will have to make changes to reduce costs, the site’s owner wrote in a post on Sunday. "4chan can't afford infrastructure costs, network fee, servers cost, CDN and etc, now," writes Hiroyuki Nisimura, who bought the site from its founder last year. I know this isn't the OSHA thread, but 3 points of contact should be a rule of life when it comes to ladders or steep stairs. I would rank it up there with "look both ways before crossing" and "don't drink the pirate brand skeleton punch"

Probably what happens is you get caught up on one side, which shifts your weight that way and lets your other leg slide forward until it becomes the new point of contact and gets caught up, the process repeats.
