Were people still theorizing about a Howard Dean presidency in October? Bernie's major problem is that he only has the one speech. The first time you hear it, it's amazing. "Holy poo poo, this guy gets it! He knows the score, the banks are loving us!" But then you realize it's literally the only speech he has. He can't talk about anything else without pivoting back to income inequality. And yes, it's an important issue, but it is not the only issue.

Unless Hillary somehow spectacularly fucks her Presidency up. Then we'll never hear the goddamn end of how loving great President Sanders would've been, guys.

A loving hurricane tilting the election to Trump would somehow be an incredibly appropriate end (of the world). However if Drudge is playing down how big it is I guess that means Team Trump isn't going to use it to weasel out of debate #2.

Oh no, if Hillary loses Florida because of this hurricane loving everything up she'll only win the election with 300 EVs! FFS guys there is a lot to be freaked out regarding this hurricane but the political implications are not one of them. Hillary is basically tied in Arizona. Arizona! And Trump is not leading in Nevada no matter what his unrated front pollsters are telling him. No loving chance.

Endorph posted:there are parts of louisana that still haven't recovered from katrina Florida is definitely more prepared to deal with this than New Orleans was. They typically get fairly major hurricanes every few years, they just haven't really so far this century. If the path goes as expected, Florida will get hit hard, lives will be lost, but it won't just ruin parts of the state like Katrina did. If it radically changes and it parks directly on top of Miami or something it'll be real bad though.
