Yeah I had a blast. I was sitting in the front row of the stage wearing my very loud maroon/gold satin jacket if anyone saw me.

Too tired for the full results, here's the important bits

- Sami Callihan won the AAW Championship from Pentagon Jr. by pinning him in a tornado tag match. That stipulation was laid out in advance but it was still a huge shocker.
- Chris Hero defeated Zack Sabre Jr. in the tournament finals after like 100 piledrivers

ACH also cut a promo saying he was "divorcing his wife" (RoH) because he loved this girl (AAW) more. It was weird but cool.

Thanks for this because I missed the logical leap about who he was talking about, but this plus him talking about "breaking the law" to be there fills in the blanks.

oatgan, I looked for you but all I got to see were a bunch of heavier dudes in Bullet Club shirts. Good prank.

Great loving show, though, if a bit long - I get why the filler matches but yooooo eight hours in two days is a drain. Bless their hearts, they went all out, though.

AAW results!

Chris Hero d. Mat Fitchett - great match!! probably the best laid-out and cleanest story of any thing this weekend. Fitchett is good!
Prince Ali d. Rey Fenix after Sami Callihan+Jake Crist interfered - great match! Ali really held his own with Fenix!! Glad we got to see him showcased after he got knocked out last month
ZSJ d. Jeff Cobb - really good match!! Jeff Cobb doesn't quite know how to get the crowd up for his big spots yet but is very likable and this had some fun technical rolling stuff
ACH d. Chuck Taylor - good match I think but I missed a lot of it

AR Fox d. Brian Cage and Drew Gulak to retain the Heritage Championship - fun surprise match!

Chris Hero d. Prince Ali - another very good match!
ZSJ d. ACH - great match!

Davey Vega/Silas Young d. Kongo Kong/Markus Crane - nonsense match but I'm tickled by the fact that they added Crane to this card just to get someone to take a dumb bump on a chair and tacks

Sami Callihan/Jake Crist d. Pentagon/Fenix with Sami pinning Pentagon to become the AAW Champion in a quadruple jeopardy hair vs. career vs. title vs. mask match. This was wild and very good and Pentagon is so over wherever he goes and it kinda sucked to change the title in a gimmick match like this but I don't really mind because Sami is great. I wonder if we'll see Pentagon at the Windy City Classic or if they had to take it off him out of necessity

Chris Hero d. ZSJ to win the Jim Lynam Memorial Tournament and face Sami Callihan for the belt at the Windy City Classic. Really good match and a much better tournament finale than these guys had with Bailey at BOLA last year. Better paced and I think Sabre's selling has improved, also they had the benefit of everyone not being burned out from three days of wrestling.

Two great shows I would definitely recommend them as an intro to AAW, yeah you can get DVDs or mp4s probably in a week or so.
