Thank goodness for the chest/key system. Anecdotal, but it feels like the first raid drops are weighted toward weapons while opening the chest is weighted toward armor.

No it does not. One character needs to be equipped with everything (including class item) for the shader to unlock. All my characters are just missing one thing each at this point. Helmets for my Hunter and Warlock, and chest piece for my Titan.

The raid fusion is absurdly good in PVE, the two for one perk basically ensures constantly full grenade and melee for any trash. I pair it with a full auto The Distant Star, Nemesis Star and Alchemist's Raiment

NL Shadow is 37 impact. Next steps out are either 35 or 48. Then there's the really high impact ones.

^^ - siiiiiiick, I think mine has Braced Frame or something that cuts the mag size down. Full auto TDS is awesome, but only has a 10 round mag.

The distant star I got is just stupid: braced frame, hcr, rangefinder.  The other options for those columns are oiled frame, lightweight, icarus.  It still shoots pretty good as the base archetype is pro tier and braced frame does make it a laser beam but man it's a bad roll.

Just checked my Distant Star; I rolled Braced Frame/Injection Mold, Full Auto/AP Rounds, Life Support/Rescue Mag. Kinda wish the last perk was Zen Moment, Hidden Hand or Crowd Control but Life Support is great too. I'll probably never touch Rescue Mag
