I don't get it. Without knowing who that is that just looks like a classy goodbye letter from someone who got completely burnt out by shifting other people's poo poo around space and just wants to go out and shoot people. Running evacuation ops will make you hate people. It's just a constant stream of "where's my stuff" "U STOLE MY STUFF ITS NOT HERE WHUR IS IT??" "sorry to bother you but" "HEY! when is my alt's stuff coming, I forget it's name but you will know" "are you delivering my stuff today m8", for very little thanks, and do people tip you or offer to cover the cost? Nope.

I literally spent an entire night learning to hate some guys voice because he mashed himself into command, and talked over the general fleet chatter about some stupid bullshit that no one cared about (to the point that the fleet wasn't even engaging him in his chosen topic of choice) yet we couldn't even escape into no chatter to shut him up because LOL he had the keys! He wasn't doing anything FC related at the time, and in fact joined the fleet too late to catch up.

This is my single biggest problem with fleets currently. If you're going to be in command chat please don't be a loving mongoloid. I don't go on boat fleets for a reason and I'd rather not get that same experience in regular fleets as well.

The rest of the stuff may be true, but there are a lot of people now who pay over the listed rate because they think it will get their stuff moved faster.

Ah. I was doing it before these new fancy transport contracts. I would never have had your stuff moved any faster for bribes nor whines, because there was a priority list and some random alliance member I had never heard of convoying me on an alt and complaining that they had paid me extra if you know what I mean wink wink would have just been ignored.

Those always surprised me. We would have something like a 120 contracts going and some guy would convo me and explain that he paid 300% the regular rate and was hoping that would get it rushed (10/10 times the contract was something like 3000M3 and the total reward less than the fuel cost of a single jump)

I didn't even look at rewards besides sorting out the ones that were obviously too low or non existent. Just the M3 and destinations so I could draw a route.

I listed my last minute evac contract at the cost of a full freighter because Dek was bubble hosed by that point. Just did my small part for the insane people risking JFs.

Were there any lost Freighters during that Evac? Not counting FCON.

Pretty sure there wasn't a single loss. There was a post about it on gf.com smugging about the "last freighter out of Saigoon" or something like that.

That's pretty impressive overall. The post says about 1k jumps, but just going by the m3 that's a minimum of 500 loads, and that's 'just' GSOL not even counting our other JF services.

No losses. Not even jumped freighters we left in places like YA0 after it was flipped for straggler cargo.

The closest I came was when I undocked a jump freighter into a PL bubblecamp that had a titan on standby just for jump freighters and I was disconnected. The JF just sat there in the bubble for minutes aligning out but not warping while I was desperately trying to get back to it.

I know a Titan was on standby because shortly after I got back and could dock up Bovril undocked a Thanatos that was promptly smacked like a game of whack-a-mole. Bovril had just flipped from Razor to the MBC and expected free passage as he undocked from a station in which he had no docking rights. Right into the PL bubblecamp.

I was surprised!

A goon hellcamp lasts for a week easy. a PL or just MBC hellcamp ~45 minutes at the most. You just wait them out and then jumped out.

My point is that some of the people who sit in command are there for a reason or at least have the common sense to not poo poo up regular fleet comms.

Also, have you heard of coordination, recon and titan bridging? Because it seems like you haven't.

It is really strange to me that with proper preparation, you can lose literally zero ships on any planned evac route, no matter the length or preparation by the enemy.

You just need an astrahaus line in the direction you're going, maybe two if you want to move multiple titan groups at the same time. Yes, you might have a few attempts at bump outs, but safe logging can prevent that if you're fast enough.

It's really strange that no one can stop you from resupplying combat ships to a 40,000 man coalition with one or two JF pilots...

logistics are dumb and too easy and the only way to fight wars is through physical exhaustion and demoralization of the enemy.

also reset your coms for gods sake. People are going to bitch, but so long as the people who actually need to have full rights and access to stuff are warned in advance then it won't be anyone who matters complaining.

There were no veiled threats at all against anyone. And Horde didn't do anything or steal anything. They even paid out all overdue "wages" weeks after I left.

Maybe 2 weeks into my Eve career I was hanging out in a POS in D2-HOS following the "Newbie 101" fleet when suddenly holy poo poo titans everywhere. Turns out it was time for the capital move op to Saranen.

This was my first time seeing titans up close and I was zooming around in my little Atron doing death star trench runs, HAHA LOOK AT THAT ONE IT'S GOT WHEELS, and of course bouncing around like a drat ping-pong ball because I didn't understand spherical hitboxes or that bumping meant anything at all.

How I didn't get purged or at least a good screaming at I'll never know.
