Yeah this is the thing that amuses me most about this election cycle. Like I can understand 19-22 year old Bernouts and Alt-Righters believing that any bullshit scandal is going to be the thing that Sinks The Clintons FOREVER, because this is the first election they've had a stake in and don't really get how normal this all is. Freepers however have been alive long enough to see every Clinton Scandal go up in smoke before their eyes, and I genuinely wonder how many times they have to watch Lucy snatch the football away from them before they try a different game

Why are Republicans so determined to alienate the fastest growing racial demographic in this country? Immigrants tend to have higher employment rates than native-borns, they often start their own businesses, tons of Hispanics are socially conservative in alot of ways (not a good thing IMHO but that's a gimme for Republicans), and an actual small government policy on immigration would benefit them tremendously. By all rights the Republicans should be able to at least make a pass at them. And yet... and yet... :psypop:

It's not hard to see why they hate immigrants. The people they vote for, those top level leaders, they tell them that immigrants are bad because immigrants are different and represent change, two things those old bastards do not lke. Hell, the current god emperor says they're murderers and rapists. So now you've got the people that compete to be the most patriotic that hate change and things that are different and are used to a very white life being told immigrants are taking away all these jobs and are really bad people

I was curious about the "Hillary defended a rapist in court and laughed at the victim!" claim because it's so stereotypically evil. Turns out that she had actually tried to refuse the case because of how obviously guilty the guy was, but the judge refused to rescue her. Because she knew that she would have to try and defend a guilty man in court, she convinced him to plead guilty instead of trying to drag it out. The "laughing" part was a reflection years down the line, where she laughed about how naive she was to think that justice was as easy as putting an obviously guilty man in jail.

So the common story that gets told is actually the complete opposite of reality, as is expected.

This is where Donald’s 11 year old comment that has raised such a brouhaha actually is both prescient and makes sense.

Being enough of a big star to see a number of crazed women’s come-ons to such stars, offering them any and all intimate favors, Donald knew exactly what he was talking about.

Even if Donald viewed himself as star studded bait, he at least chose someone with class — Melania. Perfect morality, no, with multiple split ups and marriages. But yet light years better than anything the Democrats have in their dirty minds.

There’s already some info out there dug up online that would have been more reliable to use than this. Why not put out the more credible evidence first? I think this is going to win the Trump camp additional ridicule from the press.

As long as there are people programmed to think the white male in any dispute is the evil oppressor, there will be votes for Hillary. Making people think that way has been the goal of the media and educational system for decades now. There has been sign after sign that political correctness has become more and more the dominant way of thinking nationwide during Obama’s term.

There is absolutely no social cost to expressing politically correct beliefs, while there is social cost in attacking those beliefs.

Not every woman just like not every man is a saint

And a billionaire is going to have a lot of women chasing him... that’s just simply a fact and we all know it.... so billionaire like Donald Trump hardly needs to be chasing women that are not interested..

Now that being said you could say the same thing about a big-time politician

But I think money...and we are taking BIG MONEY in the case of Donald Trump...( who is not some ugly old geezer like a Soros at the time)...attracts a certain type of woman for more than political power.

All the phony dirt they’re digging up on Trump is reminiscent of Nixon’s “dirty tricksters’ back in 1972, the Committee to re-elect the President (CREEP). The dems have become that which they despised. The difference being, back in Nixon’s time there was no social media to speak of, the only emails were messages transmitted between two primitive, (by today’s standards) computers at MIT and UCLA. But that was then, this is now.

They will use it against him like a hammer.
If they (Trump camp) screwed this one up, I personally will be one mad SOB. These are the types of mistakes his campaign should not be making at this late stage.

But as I said earlier, maybe the guy is telling the truth and has proof.
I’d like to know why he was in the states at that time. In an article I read from 2014, he claims to have seen some underage boy having sex with a member of parliament in 1981 in England.
Hopefully we will get an interview with him tonight.

I forced myself to watch the evening cable news shows tonight, and he barely got any air time. They didn't even dig into the small inconsistencies in his story, they just pointed out that he has a history of saying big things to the press with no backing evidence, and then moved on without actually dismissing him. If more women hadn't come forward today, I suspect he'd have more of a spotlight put on him.

The FBI has very roundly demonstrated THEY ARE FINE with being corrupt instruments of political terror.

This Kansas plot involved ZERO real Americans and has NOTHING to do with us. It was conceived and executed maybe via government provocateurs with domestic politcial goals in mind.

There are also pretty good chances that that was ALSo what OkBomb was about.

Also the "go code" for the initial shootout at Waco was "SHOW TIME" and they had a FILM CREW with them. They were cowboying, a bit like middle-school boys new to BB guns without camp counselors around to keep things cool.

It was a case of a federal agency up for annual budget review which wanted to kick that off with a highly televised, big victory over "bad people".

Everything was bent towards the goal of produces images which would show that.

Our government is totally out of control and has been for some DECADES.

One more from that thread. It was actually posted twice. This is the second one, with included corrections.

This is the reality that freepers live in right now. Someone earlier today used the word "counterfactual" to talk about what's happening to Trump's rhetoric. I think that's a really great word for this post as well.

quote:

Just credit "a correspondent" or "someone on FR" or what have you.

For political junkies, this is, like, the most bestest election ever, of all time.

Because MOAR popcorn.

Recap to date: a member of the Bush syndicate has a recording in which he goads Trump into giving away the plot of 50 Shades: that star-struck women will give it up easily.

He much later lands a job at NBC, where he brags about the tapes as long ago as the Olympics. NBC executives know about the tapes and time them for maximum impact. Bitter RINOs within the GOP-e react with remarkable coordination and unanimity for once in their self-serving, useless lives to Demand That Trump ResignTM. The powers that be had been quoted as confidently saying that 'no matter what, Trump will not be the nominee on 11/8.'

It turns out that a main staffer for the ringleader is MARRIED to an NBC reporter, who used to sleep with a Saudi billionaire.

The phone lines to Congress and the Senate melt down, and Trump, far from collapsing, grabs some of Bill Clinton's women and brings them to a press conference, and then PWNS Hillary during the debate with the line "because you'd be in jail !"

At the same time, Wikileaks opens a *deluge* of embarrassing and incriminating emails about all aspects of the Clinton machine.

So the Clinton machine and the press go into action hastily pulling out of who-knows-where a bevy of old women with unsubstantiated stories about how Trump groped them: while ignoring completely backed up and corroborated and verified stories of Bill's literal crimes, and Hillary's role in attacking the women to keep them quiet.

But they overplay their hand: they forget to do even the most rudimentary fact checking, and not only do the stories unravel, on cursory examination: Trump has eyewitnesses who back up his version.

In the meantime, despite the utter baldfaced lies of the press including jury-rigged Push Polls, the internals show Hillary in a desperate plight, and the behaviour of the Dems and the Republicans prove it.

1) Hillary's first rally after the debate is to Dearbornistan Detroit, talking to a crowd of black women about Michelle Obama -- maybe the only demographic where Hillary clearly leads.

2) Hillary pulls in 70-year-old Al Gore to talk to young people, and he flubs it by begging them on open mic not to vote for Johnson, since Nader cost him the election when he ran by giving Nader 90,000 votes in Florida.

3) President Obama starts campaigning for Hillary: in North Carolina, then Ohio, which was supposed to have been sewn up for Hillary.

4) The press tells the OPEN bald-faced lie that Trump is withdrawing completely from VA. This is refuted within a couple of hours.

5) Both Trump and his wife have their respective lawyers issue cease-and-desist orders against The New York Times and People Magazine, respectively. The leftists, secure in their backers' deep pockets and what they think is the "irrefutable" nature of their claims (so long ago, you see)...thumb their nose at Trump.

6) Meantime, unnoticed to all but a few, most Americans have become fed up with the Press. Trump tells the actual truth: the Press and the Dems are colluding to destroy middle America, and will stop at nothing. Crowds start booing the press, and leave souvenir swastikas at the press table at one venue.

7) Hillary goes into hiding. Trump draws crowds of over 20,000 on little notice.

8) Obama first matches up by sending out Michelle Obama to bait Trump, so they can call him a racist, too, as well as sexist, but he ignores this. All people with more than two brain cells to rub together see through the stunt.

9) Obama himself begins talking about conspiracy theories; his voice, far from being the clipped, terse, confident dictator-about-town, now sounds like a frightened, defeated weasel. This is because patriotic Americans have begun using Alinskyite tactics against the left, showing up at Democrat venues wearing "Clinton is a RAPIST!" T-shirts for the cameras. No-one has EVER disrespected the boy king like this before!

10) The polls show Trump recovered from the attack and even gaining ground on Hillary. In fact, sagacious observers realize that the polls are overweighting Democrats by between 9 and 11 percent; and that this election has ALL the enthusiasm on Trump's side. Some smaller polls actually reflect the Trump edge -- a cloud the size of a man's hand.

So, what is Team Obama to do? Losing in the polls, their propaganda refuted, their childish petulant sneers falling short --

only one thing to do.

ESCALATE!

Into the next fevered cliche of the left: the "domestic terrorist" front.

Only a couple problems.

1) Since Comey let Crooked Hillary skate, nobody trusts the FBI any more.

2) This brings to mind ALL the overreaches of the Federal apparatus against Americans -- from Waco, where children were burned to death and nobody got fired; to Ruby Ridge, where a 14-year-old boy was shot in the back and a mother had her head blown off by an FBI sharpshooter while holding her baby in her arms...and Richard Jewell, who was innocent, but blamed for the Olympic bombings...

...as well as this administration's importation and coddling of foreign terrorists, giving nukes to Iran, and being unable to say the word "Islamic."

Many will remember that there seems to be a problem with young Somalis going radical and going to the Middle East for terrorist training: and will believe, regardless of what the Administration says (since Obama and Hillary long ago squandered any goodwill (Obamacare, rainbow floodlights on the White House for gay marriage) or reputation for "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor" honesty.

Heckuva job, Barky.

How is it covert when it is being reported by NBC News, a branch of the Democrat party?!

2 posted on 10/14/2016, 3:32:51 PM by CatOwner

This is the correct first question. Let's go over the points in the story.

First, the story says very expressly that it comes from sources with direct, close knowledge of the planned operation. Second, the story says that the intent of the operation is to be covert, not overt, and that this was a point of debate internally. Third, they made a really big deal about how the entire plan is controversial as hell internally but nothing will happen unless Obama approves it.

Ladies and gents, this is propaganda. I know freep screeches about it all the time, but this is a real case of it. It's public cybersaber-rattling. Is it nothing more than that, though? Bingo! They are setting the stage to goad the Russians into war.

Back in July of 2008 Obama said he would be POTUS for “the next 8 to 10 years”. The only way he could be POTUS for more than 8 years is if something happened to keep an election/inauguration from being ABLE to happen at the end of his 2nd term.

I was thinking an EMP attack by NK or Iran. Looks to me now as if Obama is thumbing his nose at Putin as many ways as he can think of, to goad Putin on to war. And Putin says that the USA is a sponsor of world terrorism, which is actually 100% true. The Obama regime has armed ISIS and Al Qaeda. Assad is not exporting terror. The “rebels” that the US has armed (one guy is on tape bragging that the “Americans are on our side” and that they give the weapons directly to them) have videotaped themselves eating the organs of the people they kill. And those “rebels” have said that when they are done with Assad they will hit America. They are world terrorists. In fact, Obama - having been raised as Muslim - knows that the Islamic State, as an Islamic caliphate, CHANGES every Muslim into a jihadi, according to the commands of the Quran. When they supported groups that they knew would try to establish a caliphate, they knew that they would be giving the signal to Muslims all over the world that it was nearing “Zero Hour” (google that if you don’t know what that is - it’s when the Muslims are to rise up and claim the whole world for the Islamic caliphate) and they should all exercise jihad.

This is what Obama has wrought. And he knew it all along.

Putin knows this, and he is NOT going to be beaten by Islamists. So he has a valid reason for taking on the US anyway. And then Obama is thumbing his nose at Putin every way he knows.

I do believe there will be nukes used. If Hillary wins, the Russians will nuke us. If Trump wins Obama will nuke us to prevent Trump from becoming POTUS. Or either side could get NK or Iran to nuke us. In any event, it would probably be an EMP. I don’t think Russia has missiles that could hit us from the south, which is where we have the hole in our radar defense. NK and Iran have satellites with an orbit that would allow them to hit us from the south, and they have an ally in Venezuela that would let them use their consulate to house the trigger to launch a nuke, if I understand correctly.

An EMP attack would be the most efficient way to finish off the USA. And it would make an election/inauguration impossible.

The more I see of what Obama is doing, the more I think the USA’s days are short, unless somebody in our military steps up to the plate. I hope there are backdoor meetings between Putin and some “white hats” in our military. I hope somebody has disabled the nuclear football.

The interesting thing is that Denise Lind, the judge in Lt Col Terry Lakin’s court-martial, ruled that approval by the POTUS is not necessary for foreign combat orders. Presumably it wouldn’t be necessary for domestic combat orders either.... If there are any “white hats” left in our military, NOW is the time for them to act, and the ruling of Denise Lind can be their justification. They don’t need to involve Obama; he doesn’t need to know anything about it, according to Lind’s ruling.

First of all, apparently they don’t know what “covert” means.

Second, this shows that the CIA and every other alphabet agency is against the people. There is no evidence whatsoever who hacked the emails. In fact, if the CIA doesn’t know who hacked them, then the CIA is useless.

I don’t believe they were hacked. I believe they were leaked. And I believe the CIA KNOWS this.
But the campaign, and the government, wants us to think it’s the Russians so they can eventually say that the emails were actually made up. If they admitted someone inside leaked them then they have to admit they’re real and there’s no “enemy” to blame.

I'll finish tonight with Romney: “It Will Be Very Difficult” For Party “To Be Put Back Together Again” posted by freeper 2ndDivisionVet

One of the most astounding things of this election cycle is how BuzzFeed sprouted a legitimate and credible news team. They interviewed Romney. The excerpt posted on freep doesn't contain the actual substance of the article, so here's that.

Romney posted:

The voters chose a person who is on the populist spectrum, who is more isolationist both in foreign policy and economic policy than has been the party’s tradition. I think that stems from the fact that people are angry about the lack of progress on issues they care about. They watch TV and listen to radio and hear a lot of people saying it could better, [asking] why can’t the politicians get these done. They’re angry about the people that they’ve elected in the past — the establishment, if you will. This resentment towards those who are more successful, resentment towards politicians, resentment towards the elite and media led the voters to chose someone who was willing to fly in the face of the leaders of the country.

[...]

It’s hard for me to gauge what would happen if Mr. Trump were to lose. I think it’s more likely he’ll lose than not. If he were to win, I think my party would be particularly troubled between those who were strong supporters of Mr. Trump and a smaller number at that stage who would be wanting to go in a different direction. But if he were to lose, then I think there are going to be many, many people who still carry his banner — a banner, if you will, of anger, resentment, wanting dramatic change, different policies on immigration and trade than we have typically adopted as a party versus those who are the traditional, more mainstream Republicans. Whether they can come back together again or not is a darn good question. I happen to think that for that to happen requires a person of unusual skill: a Churchill, an Eisenhower, an individual who’s able to step forward, a Reagan, who’s able to step forward and bring people together.
As discussed earlier, I think they're headed for a full schism instead of coming back together, but I happen to otherwise agree on his analysis. We've seen freep vary between abandoning the GOP and taking it over. I wonder if they'll let their hatred for Romney color the fact that he agrees with them, too...

On one side will be the familiar GOP-RINO Party, and on the other side will be a state by state Deplorable Party (aka Tea Party and conservatives). It will generate a massive Democratic Party win in the Senate in 2020, but it’s likely to occur.

I’ll even suggest the obvious....that as this divide occurs....even the Democrats will undergo a split of some type....with the Green Party getting more votes, and some radicalized BLM/college agenda crowd also emerging as a party.

Actually that predates this election cycle and, in fact the previous election cycle too. Buzzfeed hired one of the main journalists from Politico specifically to build a proper journalism platform back in 2011. Since then they've been ramping up the longform, investigative output considerably.

From Fear of what may be coming (Vanity) posted by freeper hoagy62

the OP posted:

So, here I am, sitting in the pre-dawn hours of a Saturday in October, three weeks away from an election that will determine the course of our nation's future.

As I am sitting here, reading the various articles on FR, I note that there are a few that are stating that the possibility of an actual shooting war with Russia is a valid possibility. This is due to our idiot President and his lackeys accusing Russia of interfering with our elections.

As I read these articles, a cold dread enters my mind...a dread I have not felt in over a decade.

When I was growing up, I (and, I'm sure most of you) lived under the constant threat of the old Soviet Union launching an all-out nuclear war against the United States. When I was a teenager, I was very curious about such things, and I studied nuclear war, how it might be fought, and how to defend against it. On that last part, I soon realized that there really is NO way to defend against it. There is nowhere you could go in this world to get totally away from the after-effects of a nuclear exchange.

In the 80's I joined the US Army. In my time there, I was stationed in Germany. I was part of a unit that was armed with nuclear weapons (Pershing 2). If the balloon went up, I was sitting right smack dab in the middle of a bulls-eye for Soviet targeters. We trained for the eventuality that the Soviets would come pouring through the Fulda Gap in vast numbers, hoping to conquer Western Europe with a massive lightning assault...and knowing that, if they did, they'd probably unleash WW3. And, it would NOT be confined to Europe.

I left the Army in 1986. Some 3 years later, the Berlin Wall fell. Soon after, many Eastern Bloc regimes also fell. And, finally, in 1991, after a failed attempt by hard-liners to re-assert a strong ultra-Communist government, the Soviet Union fell. I breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that....maybe, just maybe....the threat of nuclear war was done.

Some 10 years later, for a few days in September of 2001, the fear returned after 9/11. I wondered if Islamic terrorists had gained access to a nuke and were about to use it against us. Thankfully, that fear turned out to be unfounded (for now, at least), and my fear subsided.

Now, 15 years after 9/11, I find that fear coming back in all it's dark oppression. Yes, I knew that Russia still has nukes, and they're still poised on missiles, but I never thought they'd have a reason to use them ever again. Now, thanks to the blustering and threats from our idiot President (and his even-stupider Vice President), it seems that Russia may have a reason to use them again.

Do I have to live in fear again, waiting for the sound of air-raid sirens? Am I going to have to be listening for the sounds on an EAS alert on my radio or TV, stating we're under a notional emergency due to a inbound nuclear attack?

Where I live an work, there is no escape. I did some checking this morning. Where I live, I am about 5 miles from a major Joint Base. I can guess there are at least 2 Russian warheads targeted there. Where I work, I am in right smack-dab in a triangle of three naval bases, one of which is a submarine base for Trident ballistic missile subs. At the farthest, one base is only 7 miles away.

What can I do amidst all this talk of possible war?

And when we think about it, who would NEED to use nukes more than anyone else? Little, tiny Israel. Then it will truly be her against the world. Then comes Jesus! When that happens, it will be good for some but real bad for others.

I don’t think the Russians want a large-scale exchange any more than we do. They know our retaliatory capacity probably better than we do and the levels of destruction would be simply intolerable, to everybody on Earth.

But I can’t completely rule out tactical nukes, especially in the Middle East. The Russians are not playing around in Syria and we ignore their warnings at our peril. Plus we are backing the wrong people in Syria, which makes us the bad guys. Luckily, the Russians are sane, unlike the muzzies.

The question then becomes, would Obummer start a shooting war to hold onto power and cancel the election? I fear he would. We might have to rely on some patriot with a cooler head and a ready sidearm to stop him, and that is a longshot bet on a good day.

But I feel that the American Sunrise is coming. Soon.

Hillary will appoint the Kennedy successor and that judge could sit on the Court until 2050.

Their disgusting intents hit home hard and will tilt the balance if the hierarchy continues to speak about it. So far, some have! I am not foolish enough to think this will get any MSM airplay but it is very encouraging leaders like Graham and Archbishop Chaput are blasting a strong Never-Hillary message. Just as effective as Pro-Trump, the message and its impact is getting out!

The amazingly sinister part of that email was the admission that infiltration of the Catholic Church is part of their plot.

Trump is doing something very significant - he is not giving up! That may seem elementary but with every attack and now the entry of the insufferable Gloria Allred, he is in fact neutralizing the standard MSM attacks. Already, this former Apprentice contestant has been totally discredited as is the woman making the claim of octopus attacks in First Class.

What doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger! Watch for the crawl back from struggling senators like Ayotte, Johnson and Burr as they see Trump beat down the press and the WikiLeaks continue to unravel the democrats’ deceit and complicity with the press.

Getting back to the religious angle, Trump’s strong discrediting of these sudden accusers is very significant. Religious leaders are in a bind coming out strongly for Trump, but every time Trump credibly discredits each of them, the Christian leaders have clearance to open up. Kudos to Pastor Jeffers of Dallas for not wavering. Three and a half weeks is an eternity in politics given the intensity of this race. Christians are awakened, Trump can win this!
