The issue though is that so many pokemon that could of gotten an Alolan form got gently caress all so it just feels like a big waste.

They're okay but what does it actually do for them? non-final stage evos don't matter, and an ice type Ninetales/Sandslash doesn't really seem to do anything for either, Ice is like the least beneficial type to add Marowak looks neat, as does Surfchu, but ehh, it's like the Megas that nobody uses

Alolan Geodude is cool and good. Alolan Graveller and Golem are dumb and bad. I hate it when Pokemon I like have evolutions or superior forms that ruin them for me. Even worse when everyone else seems to love the terrible lovely versions (I'm looking at you, Mega Ampharos, gently caress you for ruining my favorite 'mon forever). At least everyone seems to agree with me on this one.
