Neat thing I found playing the demo: If you capture a Pikachu with two electric-type moves (Nuzzle and Electroball) and equip it with Electrium Z, tapping its Z-moves button in-battle gives you two options for Gigavolt Havoc - one at 100BP, one at 160. Also they've got 10 PP each which I guess only applies to playing in-game

Additionally: You can equip multiple pokemon in your party with the Z-stone simultaneously If there's a Gigavolt Havoc for every type, this'd make the various elemental hyper beams and recoil moves more usable, depending on how much BP Z-moves cap out at you could have a lot of fun with those Lemme drop a mountain on folks with a Rock Wrecker Crustle, or use the ultimate Hydro Vortex Water Spout Wailord is what I'm sayin

Alola Persian is bad but I like everything else. The demo is fun and this game's soundtrack rules. Riding Tauros is way better than using a bike even though it's a shame it doesn't get it's own music like the bike does. It's cool that you show up in your riding outfit in battle when you're wearing it but that does mean I won't be seeing the sweet outfit i will be wearing all the time. The game looks really pretty and the animations are cool. Being able to add a newly caught pokemon straight to your party even if it's full is good. Switching pokemon positions in the menu just by pressing Y is an interesting change. Probably faster in the long run but it'll take a bit to get used to. I like that when you're almost about to be seen by a trainer the borders darken. Should make it easier to avoid trainer battles when you want to. If Pokefinder replaces dex-nav as a way to get cool and good pokemon without having to run around hoping for a 5% chance for them to spawn, i'll be happy. But i'm not certain it'll end up like that. Team Skull are already the best villain team of all time and i've only interacted with them for like 2 minutes. I'm hyped to play this game for real in a month.

I hope they add a bunch more Alola forms in Pokemon Star or whatever, because I love most of the new designs and it's a good way to use cool old friends and still make them new and exciting. Also, from everything i've heard it was really well received. And most importantly I just really want Alola Farfetch'd. Come on Gamefreak just do this for me.

Kinda hope there'll still be friends that haven't been leaked. Was hoping for alolan forms of the gen 1 fossils and the hitmonboys. Tho my real hope is that my favourite dudes aren't a pain to find. I basically speedran my way to the safari zone in AS.

I'm fairly certain most shiny palettes are still just randomly generated, just a lot of the bad ones like "lime green" are filtered out, so even not-actually-Pokemon get their palettes messed with. So, yeah, the existence of battle preview images/shinies of the ultra beasts mean basically nothing. There's still no definitive evidence as to whether they're catchable or not, but given that they seem to be people transformed into science monsters, I personally think it's fairly likely they won't be.

When I read Salandit's Pokédex blurb this bit troubled me:Pokédex posted:Salandit females not only release toxic gases, they can also emit pheromones that attract males of all species, including Pokémon and humans.
