Rey's on the outs with AAA already? First I've heard of it. The way he's been boosting LU and El Rey, he seems loyal to them at least. Also, did anyone see exactly what broke Fenix's nose? It looked like Drago came down harder than expected, but it happened so fast I couldn't tell if it was a knee or Fenix had his hands up and ended up punching himself in the face.

It looked like Drago somehow got part of his face, I don't know if he landed on Fenix's head or accidentally caught him with an elbow or what. But man, Fenix was just blowing blood and snot out of his nose and mouth for the rest of the match. The refs kept checking on him, so he wasn't in any danger, it was just real gross. Luckily, he didn't have to miss any time because of it, although there were a couple of tapings where you could see he was wearing a protective thing along with the mask. He showed some real balls not backing off for the rest of that match, though, even though he was clearly kind of dazed. I won't say anything more about Rey/Chavo until we're to the point where it won't be spoilers.

They've used Vinnie in several dark matches as well, typically when they want to give some new tryout a squash match. If I remember right, I think he has at least one on-screen match this year. Sometimes you just need a straight up jobber. He's a big fan of LU on social media, so I guess they are treating him right for the usage he gets. It was nice that they gave him a little goofy character sketch there.

Hi, i'm still catching up to this show but i wanted to say somewhere that I got pulled out really hard during this Powered Up Mil Muertes vs Trios Champion Son of Havoc match in season 1 because it's clearly from about two months before the episodes around it are, what with Evilice's broken leg and how badly the commentary dub is going (Mil dragged Havoc over to the announcers table and Matt's just talking calmly to bad lipsyncing as his face from the past screams). Welp, gonna go back and then hopefully finish season 2 in a reasonable timeframe so I can follow this thread too. edit: i'm a dumbass and Ivelisse's leg injury still wasn't healed, even for the season finale. From the reports, it sounds like the live event in Phoenix over the weekend was pretty fun. The only downsides were that it was outside and very hot, and apparently they broke one of the ring ropes during the first match and had to replace it. And the ropes looked kind of crap in general from the few video snippets I saw. Still from what I read and heard, they had about six matches spread out over two shows and the crowd seemed pretty into it, and a good time was had by all. A couple of newsworthy things coming out of it: Jack Evans still worked the show, despite AAA firing him last week. So, he appears to be following in the Sexy Star footsteps of people on the outs with AAA but still working LU. Two new people worked the show: Garza Jr. and Australian Suicide. As far as I know, those two haven't worked with LU before, not even in dark matches, so they may be in the mix for Season 4. Kevin Kross (guy who has worked dark matches before and is known to be signed, but didn't debut on TV during S3) also worked the show. Seems like a fun event, if a little confusing why they are running such small events for free. Hopefully Cricket Wireless is shelling out some dollars for it. Or these are just test runs to see how taking it on the road works out.

I was at the Phoenix shows yesterday. Very fun but hot and there was no shade to be had anywhere. WHY they chose to hold it outside I don't know. It was two shows, three matches each with about an hour break in the middle. The crowd was definitely into it but it was hard as hell to keep the energy up just because of the weather. I felt so bad for Pentagon and Drago in particular with their masks. Pentagon grabbed water bottles from the crowd more than once to dump over his own head. Overall super fun and I hope they do decide to tour around, but it was weird to have it outside in the bright daylight instead of the normal dark temple atmosphere.
