Hopefully the Switch can play digital versions of Wii U games to make up for everyone who bought the Wii U getting so horribly burned on Nintendo's broken promises.

Oh man it's real guys; for real There doesn't seem to be any weird control gimmick; appears to be just a traditional console with the ability to do on-the-go stuff I guess the one wrinkle is gonna be if there's any difference between the "console" and "handheld" versions of the games. Is all the hardware for the system contained in the little screen dealie or are devs going to need to consider two different hardware profiles when they're developing games?

I mean I don't really care too much about third party support on Nintendo consoles Unless it funnels more money into the big Nintendo Game Making Machine they've got in their basement; which I guess is true in which case I hope the Switch can actually attract an audience and a bunch of devs

I like my Wii U and it's fun to play on the gamepad but the fact that it's way too heavy and has an effective range of 12 feet from the console before it loses signal was a huuuuuge pain in the rear end.

I find it funny that they were being this secretive about this. It looks fine like any Nintendo console and the gimmick is less dumb than their last three consoles, but this is still something that I don't think Sony or MS really care all that much about stealing and really it's nothing mind blowing anyways.

Well Sony tried to do exactly what this is doing with the Vita, remote play was a huge element of it when it was first unveiled and then integrated at a system level when the PS4 came out

Read Dead Online is going to have lobbies with a dozen players and MMO like grinds, and I will complete those grinds before Rockstar rebalances them to require 5x as much effort

I mean it'll definitely have multiplayer like GTA5, but GTA5 was still a fully-featured singleplayer game. Moreso than GTA4 was, for that matter. People who are fretting at this stage are being dumb
