Mini Metro is out. Alas this version is missing the Zen/endless mode from the desktop version but the devs insist a reworked version of the mode will make it to mobile eventually.

In Dungeon Warfare, did they remove the spike trap? It shows up as a preset trap in a couple levels, and there are references to it in online guides, but as far as I can tell no way to build it in game.

Same for the secret trap, which only appears in the secret casino level, but there doesn't seem to be a way to unlock it. Flipping heroes into the special pits just gives coins. Also, perhaps a bug, but the slot machine trap sometimes blows up, leaving a wall square behind.

To unlock the secret level, since I'm sure someone will ask, you have to flip a bunch of heroes into the pit with the special red border. After you flip enough, a message pops up and unlocks the abandoned casino level.

Excellent. I got the apk during the beta or whatever and it was surprisingly well done. Not super deep but pretty fun. Didn't' notice too much paywall BS while I was playing it but I guess it might not be as prevalent during development.

Dungeon Warfare being called a 2D Orcs Must Die is a bit disconcerting for me. OMD relied too much on me FPSing to defeat waves for my taste, is this similar to DW?

Unrelated, something interesting about AbyssRium that nobody mentioned when it was being discussed: the skill that increases your vitality by 500% also boosts the amount of candy you get from fish by the same ratio. Not sure if it's a bug, but makes it easier to get the Ghost Fishes.

I think it comes unlocked already at the start of the game, or is unlocked on one of the very early levels, (though looking at the map, I don't see a level that lists is as an unlock). Its been there for me since day one . On the loadout screen its the leftmost icon on the second row down.

Yeah, that one i think is not supposed to be available for placing. The blowing up seems intentional, i saw the slot machine stop on a little skull symbol just before it went away. Its actually really helpful cause it gives another space for a trap. I beat the casino level yesterday and holy moly the rewards are amazing, I was already around level 30, and I leveled up 4 or 5 times just from that, plus a *really* substantial gem reward.

e: another little tip for dungeon warfare that I didn't really notice until quite far into the game, is that you can preview all the unit types that will come from each wave by tapping the wave number on the left side during gameplay. Quite a few levels end with the last wave or two including some unit type that really throws off the setup you've been working on the entire level, so its nice to know in advance.

Oops, meant spear trap not spike trap. It shows up once and has a greyed out upgrade button, but I've beaten all the levels and don't have it. And I don't have any missing traps.

Here's a really polished Solitaire game: Solitaire: Decked Out Ad Free

No ads, lots of cosmetic things to unlock, some IAPs but you can unlock everything without paying anything.

It asks for Media/Files access permission but the dev said that's a bug and will be removed in an update. Right now you can just hit deny and the game will work fine.

Any thoughts on when to prestige in Egg Inc? I randomly prestiged when I had 30 soul eggs and my general plan in games like this is to simply double the amount each time, but I'm curious.

Are you enjoying it enough that you plan to spend money on it? If you're willing to spend 3 dollars on the piggy bank IAP, the more you prestige, the faster you fill up the piggy bank by buying technologies, vehicles, etc..

Note, some people get confused about the piggy bank IAP, you spend 3 dollars to bust it open for its current gold egg value, and then it starts filling up again from 0. It's not some sort of "permanent" unlock.

I know about that and didn't ask about the piggy bank IAP. I was asking about prestiging where you restart completely.

Right, I was trying to say that if you plan to buy the piggy bank IAP, you should prestige frequently, so you build up the piggy bank IAP faster.

Otherwise, prestige when you can't reasonably get to the next egg. It's been a while since I was on low soul eggs, but you can probably get to Quantum (20 Quintillion) with low soul eggs? Or Immortality (80 Sextillion)? After a while, I found my progress went to a crawl around 1.5 to 2k per prestige.

Try everything. Honestly half the fun is trying new combos and finding the game allows it.

Other than that a teir 3 dart trap pushing at max range a teir 3 slime floor at a bottleneck can hold back hordes a plenty. Backing that up is easy.

Keep playing older levels, while adding on runes, and milk those levels for all of the XP you can; you won't actually earn anything except for whatever you got above and beyond your previous score. So, if you earned, for the sake of argument, 1000xp the first time, and the second time you got 1500xp, you'll only get the extra 500 the second time. If your third time, you only got like... 200xp, you'd get nothing, since it didn't beat your previous score.

Just a heads up, because it's a charming little game and I got burned (slightly) on it:

I saw an ad for Make More, a tapper/clicker/idle game, and it won me over rather quickly on its base gameplay: you hire people to carve wood into toys, or use a wrench on a grey block and produce clocks, or finish rubics cubes. You use the money from that to make workers faster, even buying more factories hire more workers. The only downside is that the IAP currency doesn't really poo poo itself out at rates equal to the amount it wants for bonuses and multipliers.

But here's the catch: the things you're using IAP to buy (product multipliers, tap multipliers, whatever) for your factory only work for the first factory. Build a new factory? Have to buy more IAP to get to the same level you got on the first one.

tldr: I was feeling kinda good because I thought I found a free idler that seemed kinda charming, and it's an IAP hell.

I wrote off Idle Mage Attack because of the crappy graphics, but now it's the only thing I play during breaks. No intrusive IAP or ads, the graphics turns out isn't that bad in motion and it doesn't turn my S4 into a chugging, choppy mess.

I just poked around with this for a little while after this post and one thing I did find out is that it registers at least 4 fingers at a time so you can use your index and middle fingers together on each side of the screen to get 4 taps at a time. I can't comment on any IAP stuff, but I have gotten 7 premium bucks fairly passively.

It's cute, but I'm not really feeling it as being in DR's class. There aren't really any board-manipulation skills or such to add skill, so a lot of levels come down to luck on "will it spawn three shield tiles anywhere that can be cleared" by when the enemy's turn comes up, meaning that levels are either a breeze to clear or annoying based on that. I'm enjoying it, it's worth trying out, but it's straightforward.
