I hate to be the guy that backs Faustus up here, but I think the idea of Vai's space guitar adventures gets better when you play them in space wizard costumes. Related, I recently found out he cut the guitar solo on a M83 single earlier this year, so, yes, we're in the year 2016 and Vai is on the charts.

Personally I'm torn. On one hand, sitting at my computer with coffee in hand I am ready to scoff at Vai's ridiculous get up, because look at it. On the other hand, if I was actually at the show I'd probably think it's loving awesome.

Back to stupid music poo poo:  Gibson took arguably their best looking guitar model, made it look way worse, and is selling them for like 700 bucks. Also that rosewood fretboard looks loving horrible, that is what they picked for the promo shot? Yikes. But for some reason these fucks won't reissue the 3 pickup ones with the Lyre Vibrola tailpiece(Firebird VII)  I'd buy one of those in a second.
