There were a few points I was like "well, it's perhaps not inaccurate to the Japanese, but..." and ofc it also has that age old chestnut of the animation and lip-flaps being built for Japanese and the English VO needs to struggle around that.

Also holy poo poo, speaking of stealth reveals in Train On videos, it looks like the trainer customization this time around really is going to have some goddamn options. That's neat to see! Trainer dressup was one of the best parts of X/Y.

The new trailer/shorts were great. As corny as the trailer video was, it gave me all sorts of feels. As for the generations shorts, the ghost thing was definitely fun and spooky.

ADR has advanced enough that it's relatively simple to modify lip flaps, particularly for dialog scenes. In dynamic scenes it usually doesn't matter.

those were both pretty good. The Ray fight was very nice, and that Chansey was adorable. Also nice for having a Haunter since he's my favourite actual ghost ghost. I'm not sure what the other ghost was though, I thought Froslass because of the horns but then it also has a gastly sort of tongue and sableyesque teeth. Maybe it was just A Ghost.

Eyes kinda looked like Rotom's. It also had Rotom's jagged teeth and television static skin.

Although there's a portion of the Japanese fanbase that hates hates hates the aforementioned dragon lady due in part to the arc of her plot (and how the plot sort of wants her to be sympathetic despite her being kind of a dick through the entire plotline). But yeah, you fight Deoxys in literal space, and you get there by riding a mega-evolved sky dragon. It's kind of cool.
