In most of these her eyes are brown while in others they are... golden? I don't know. It's an interesting little detail.

That's an interesting thought. The denizens of the RotD looked different depending on who was looking, so maybe the same was true for the visitors. For all we know Kat really did look like a horrifying robo-angel to them.
