The makeup artist who worked with me is uploading pictures and I can't help noticing that my face does look too dark. I wonder what the actual pics look like! I'll see them in November

It may just be because your face is closer to the camera than your pale shoulders. Though I think that the "contouring" is kinda dark. But, with the magic of lighting I am sure it will all balance out. You are gorgeous no matter what colour your artist uses.

Thanks for the compliments! My mom did say I looked darker, too. I tried something similar and managed to match my skin (and blend the "contouring")

Okay, with fresh eyes, I can def say that you were spot on, your artist certainly made you darker. You look so mysterious and glowy paler. The more I see it, the more I am a fan of your face. I need to be reminded, what is the modeling you do for? It's pretty cool.
