A couple years ago I went to an ROH show in Belle Vernon, PA at a shithole skating rink that's literally in the middle of nowhere. There were posters up for a concert there in two weeks. It was Korn.

Korn's first album was an amazing display of incoherent anger and frustration. Subsequent albums tried but failed to recapture that magic. Then age and relatively clean living killed their legitimacy. Therefore Korn will be the featured artist at this year's Wrestlemania.

Yeah, I'll always give them credit for their first album as a catharsis of raw anger. But when something's that cathartic, you're never going to be able to top it. By the third album they were singing about how awesome life is now that they're rich and have cool cars.
