Well, yeah, there's no Dax in the mirror universe...or at least if there is, it's off in someone else and not in either Jadzia or Erri. So it's sort of like having a hot cousin growing up that gave you funny pants feelings, and then you go away to college and there's a chick who looks just like her, but you're not related, so it's ok to bang her. Sure, part of your mind is like, "Hey, it's like I'm banging my cousin..I don't know about that" but then the rest of your mind is all, "yeah, but she's not my cousin, so who cares?"

Dated a girl with the same name as an aunt (though the aunt goes by Shelly, the girl went by Michelle) and another one the same name as a first cousin, but spelled differently. Though I do have a second-cousin-once-removed (my mom's cousins's daughter) who lives far away who I last saw when I was a teenager (so like 15 years ago) who recently friended me on Facebook and I found out she looks a lot like the pornstar Stoya, so there's that, I guess.

Prophets is a good episode even though it has Keiko. It has all the things that make a good Trek; technobabble, politics, intrigue. O'Brien is such a loving hothead, you can't punch everyone! Never watched any of Enterprise, am up to mid second season on Netflix. A lot of episodes aren't that good, a lot of long drawn out oh-no-we're-gonna-die character studies that seem to be padding to fill an hour. I like the Andorians and their CGI antenna. The Ferengi episode was dumb, but the whip was cool to see again. Can't stand T'Pol and that thing she's always doing with jutting her mouth out to emphasize I have no emotions. I'm also confused about the transporter, it's like, it works, but they don't trust it, so they avoid using it even in life and death situations, but, not always. It's like the writers are shrugging it off as "well yeah they could just use the transporter but where's the drama in that?" The alien makeups that don't use contact lenses really look horrible, like the non enhanced Suliban, and this on Tom Bergeron, which is actually pretty good but ruined by obvious human eyes:

It'd never happen but imagine they're teleporting in a guy off screen and you hear the transporter sound and suddenly blood sprays all over the walls. Or a character loses a vital organ and has to be taken to sickbay. Or at the very least they could transport a box of something and only half of it arrives and it looks all sorts of hosed up. Just need a few reminders that no one justifiably feels safe around this thing.
