From Breaking: Top Clinton aide Huma Abedin Could Be A Spy posted by freeper Cheerio

This delightful piece is from "EndingFed News". Their current top three stories are "IT’S OVER: Trump Just Took Lead In A BLUE State… Nobody Saw This Coming", "LOOK Who Is ‘Singing Like a Bird’ – Top Witness Just TURNED On Hillary!", and "Anonymous Releases SHOCKING Video Of Huma Abedin… Every American Should See It". Sometimes I wished I was a better wordsmith and didn't have moral problems with separating fools from their money, I could make a mint from right wing clickbait.

the excerpt posted:

It has been revealed that there are about 650,000 emails on Huma Abedin’s husband’s laptop. Of the 650,000 emails, thousands are labeled “classified” National Security material forwarded from another email server. According to sources, the emails were discovered in a folder labeled, “Life Insurance”. Is it possible the folder was mislabeled by Abedin to deliberately conceal its contents? This also begs the question: How did Huma Abedin get National Security clearance?
You'll note the lack of citations and sources there. It then goes on to quote the New York Post insisting that these things are real and Huma's in big trouble, and then pastes in a whole bunch of externally created image macros, er, "infographics."

Again, there are zero confirmed reliable sources here that state any actual classified or confidential information migrated from the Clinton server to Huma's external account (Yahoo) and then to Anthony Weiner's account.

quote:

With 500,000,000 email accounts hacked earlier last year, Abedin has put our National Security in danger.

How did Huma Abedin get National Security clearance?

Emails found in a folder labeled “Life Insurance”.

If this is verified, then this had nothing to do with ‘mislabeling’ a folder.

Huma knew that Vince Foster and dozens of others have had their life expectancy curtailed while in connection with Hillary Clinton.

This is Huma’s version of the ‘blue dress’. She had backup evidence of Hillary Crimes to protect herself if she fell out of favor.

1) Is Huma the REASON for the Benghazi attack? Did she give the bad guys some info about Stevens' whereabouts?

2) Is Huma the REASON a helicopter carrying 20 Navy SEALs was shot down in Afghanistan?

3) Is Huma the REASON a top secret reconnaissance drone operated by the U.S. was HIJACKED AND TAKEN BY IRAN?

More than the file name, I wonder if the folder was hidden. Hiding folders and files is trivially easy. If not hidden (and I doubt it was), this computer was probably figured to be insecure, by Weiner and Abedin.

If the material was thought to be contraband (by Weiner and/or Abedin), leaving it on this computer is like leaving the heroin and machine guns on the coffee table.

From I want Peter Thiel as a cabinet member in Trumps administration, a vanity thread posted by freeper sharkhawk

This election cycle might be your first exposure to Peter Thiel, so here's his opinions in a nutshell, from his own words:

Peter Thiel posted:

As one fast-forwards to 2009, the prospects for a libertarian politics appear grim indeed. Exhibit A is a financial crisis caused by too much debt and leverage, facilitated by a government that insured against all sorts of moral hazards — and we know that the response to this crisis involves way more debt and leverage, and way more government. Those who have argued for free markets have been screaming into a hurricane. The events of recent months shatter any remaining hopes of politically minded libertarians. For those of us who are libertarian in 2009, our education culminates with the knowledge that the broader education of the body politic has become a fool’s errand.
[...]
The 1920s were the last decade in American history during which one could be genuinely optimistic about politics. Since 1920, the vast increase in welfare beneficiaries and the extension of the franchise to women — two constituencies that are notoriously tough for libertarians — have rendered the notion of “capitalist democracy” into an oxymoron.
This generated such a ruckus that he had to clarify,

Peter Thiel posted:

It would be absurd to suggest that women’s votes will be taken away or that this would solve the political problems that vex us. While I don’t think any class of people should be disenfranchised, I have little hope that voting will make things better.
Thiel is on the outskirts of the neoreactionary movement that feeds ideas into what we now call the alt-right. For more about him and other related dipshits, head over to the PYF Dark Enlightenment Thinker thread. He's a public face of the bad parts of Silicon Valley libertarian culture, but I repeat myself.

Oh, one more thing. He's gay and was outed by Gawker, eventually leading him to finance Hulk Hoagan's lawsuit against them. Killing Gawker is only the second good thing he's ever done. The first is that he is also one of the guys behind PayPal, with Elon Musk and others. The good there is helping make Musk rich, not creating PayPal.

But you all know that only one thing is going to matter to freep.

From Trump campaign condemns rally supporter who chanted, 'Jew-S-A!' posted by freeper Phillyred

the excerpt posted:

Donald Trump's campaign manager on Sunday forcefully disavowed a supporter as "deplorable" for chanting "Jew-S-A!" at a weekend rally, the latest incident of anti-Semitic rhetoric used by some of the GOP nominee's backers.

"[The man's] conduct is completely unacceptable and does not reflect our campaign or our candidate. Wow," Kellyanne Conway said during an interview on CNN's "State of the Union." "That man's conduct was deplorable. And had I been there, I would have asked security to remove him immediately."

The Saturday afternoon incident in Phoenix, which was captured on video, revived long-standing anxieties about xenophobic and white supremacist rhetoric used by a fringe faction within the GOP nominee's base. An unidentified man confronted reporters at the rally with shouts and a three-fingered hand gesture that resembled hate symbols flagged by the Anti-Defamation League.

"You're going down! You're the enemy!" the man yelled. As the rest of the crowd broke into a chant of "USA! USA!," the man repeatedly chanted, "Jew-S-A! Jew-S-A!"

The man, who wore a "Hillary for Prison" T-shirt, also asserted that Jews control the media, a common theme among white supremacists.
Yes, you read that right, Kellyanne Conway called him deplorable.

Nothing to wonder about. George 1 chose Quayle as VP, expecting him to be a light weight and thus not a threat to dreams of a Bush dynasty. George 1 didn't win a second term, and during the next eight years George 2 had time to sober up and have some accomplishments at stuff handed to him. I wonder as things unfold if George 1 even intended to win against Clinton. Only problem is that Quayle was not a lightweight, and was an impressive statesman and scholar concerning foreign affairs.

That wouldn't do, so two things happened. First, the media chorus about Quayle is an ignoramus. Then throwing so much money into the GWB primary campaigns that it was rigged before voters had a clue what was going on. Forbes was also cut off by these maneuvers for GWB. They tried the same thing for Jeb this year and the only thing that stopped it is that Mr. Trump is a force of nature.

I'm not sure the Dark Side is through. This Evan McMullan who is on the ballot in Utah is scary. He was interviewed on NBC this weekend. The script is if he can win Utah and deny either candidate 270. Then it goes to the electoral college and other scenerios where the elite would choose the President.

This stuff used to be called conspiracy theory. It isn't, and it's been snowballing out of control since the first Bush presidency.

From Clinton Enlists Army Of Ex-Prosecutors To Go After FBI Director posted by freeper Helicondelta

The headline is from the Washington Examiner, and that article is based on but does not link to a piece in the Daily Beast which is based on a draft of this "open letter" now published on the campaign's website.

the letter posted:

Perhaps most troubling to us is the precedent set by this departure from the Department’s widely-respected, non-partisan traditions. The admonitions that warn officials against making public statements during election periods have helped to maintain the independence and integrity of both the Department’s important work and public confidence in the hardworking men and women who conduct themselves in a nonpartisan manner.

We believe that adherence to longstanding Justice Department guidelines is the best practice when considering public statements on investigative matters. We do not question Director Comey’s motives. However, the fact remains that the Director’s disclosure has invited considerable, uninformed public speculation about the significance of newly-discovered material just days before a national election. For this reason, we believe the American people deserve all the facts, and fairness dictates releasing information that provides a full and complete picture regarding the material at issue.
So in short, they're calling Comey out for bungling how the Weiner email investigation stuff was announced. Well loving duh, the version of the story circulated around the RWM is entirely detached from reality, and that stupidity was enabled by letting their imagination fill the gaps left in the announcement.

Freep cuts to the chase.

I do not know whether Comey’s decision to notify Congress about the newly-surfaced Hillary Clinton emails is or is not in accordance with proper procedure....

.......but this I do know......

Comey's notifying Congress is a ringing endorsement of the power of the people.

The overwhelming evidence Comey told us he had on Hillary was not acted upon.....so we, the people, did the only thing left to us.....we contacted our reps in Congress to demand action.

Comey notifying Congress says all that's needed to be said about this sordid scandal.

What about the pledge? Ex-rivals still split on endorsing Trump despite debate vow

Donald Trump took considerable heat when, during the first Republican primary debate in August 2015, he initially declined to pledge support for the party’s eventual presidential nominee.

But now that Trump is that nominee, his former primary foes are the ones who have split on honoring the pledge.

While several ex-rivals now are unabashedly Team Trump – and others have reluctantly backed him as the better of the two major-party candidates – a couple of GOP primary contenders still refuse to endorse the nominee.

The holdouts are:

John Kasich The Ohio governor is the most defiant anti-Trump politician who was at that initial debate.

Jeb Bush

The former Florida governor went from front-runner to also-ran in a matter of months after Trump stormed into the primary race, frequently making Bush a subject of his debate-stage attacks. Bush has not forgotten.

Bush, after dropping out, endorsed Cruz in March. He later congratulated Trump on securing the nomination in May, but said he will not vote for Trump or Hillary Clinton.

The supporters are:

Ted Cruz

Cruz stunned the GOP convention crowd by withholding an endorsement of Trump during his Cleveland address. But while this renewed weeks of feuding between the Texas senator and the billionaire businessman, Cruz eventually announced – in September – he would vote for Trump and urged others to do the same.

“Like many other voters, I have struggled to determine the right course of action in this general election,” Cruz said on Facebook. He said that after “many months of careful consideration, of prayer and searching my own conscience, I have decided that on Election Day, I will vote for the Republican nominee, Donald Trump.”

He also referenced the pledge, saying he wanted to keep his word to support the Republican nominee – and he finds Clinton “wholly unacceptable.”

You owe Ted Cruz a big apology and need to get over your Ted Cruz derangement sypmtoms

The others are

Marco Rubio, Scott Walker, Rand Paul, Chris Christie, Dr Ben Carson, Mike Huckabee

When NY, NC, OH are declared too close to call and PA has Trump up, I will continue sipping.

When MD is too close to call and GA goes for Trump, I will have another sip.

As the states in the Central Time Zone begin to report, I will smile and sip when Trump wins FL in a landslide.

The South (KY, WV, TN, AR, AL, MS, and LA) goes Trump, I will finish my first cup of warm chocolate and make another.

MI, WI, IA, and MI will be called too close to call. IL will be called for Clinton. We will be reminted that NY is still too close to call.

The Great Plains states (ND, SD, NE, KS, OK, and TX) will all go heavily Trump.

As I sip chocolate, I will click over to the Clinton sNews Network to watch Rachel Madcow pick a fight with Tingle Leg when she hears NY, NC, MD all went for Trump. She hits old Tingle Leg in the face with her fist. Old Tingle Leg announced, “Madcow, I have never hit a woman before!” He decks her, turns to the camera, and announced, “And I have still not hit a woman! She is better endowed than Ant-Knee Weiner. Rachel is really Michael. She is as big a fraud as Hillary.”

I click back to One America News Network which has breaking news: HILLARY CLINTON, HUMA ABEDIN ARRESTS FOR FRAUD, MONEY LAUNDERING, AND ESPIONAGE!

I calmly finish my chocolate and unlock the liquor cabinet.

I hear a series of single gunshots. I open my gun safe and take out some protection. Then I realize it is my neighbors who have the “I’m with Her” bumper stickers trying to blow their brains out. I talk to the police who have responded. One says, “She shot herself four times in the head and is still conscious.” I nod and tell the police to drop by after their shift ends for a drink.

There’s no death penalty in Iowa. I believe Iowa was one of the first states to end capital punishment, but restored it until the ‘60s.

Ending it for good was another of the negative legacies of the execrable Harold Hughes.

Well what makes them so special?

quote:

isn’t an automatic capital murder offense in Iowa? It is in Texas.*

Why are police lives and government employee lives more valuable than the lives of everyone else? Shouldn't we also treat ALL murderers the same? Here in Atlanta a couple of colorful youts lured a pizza delivery driver to their apartment and then robbed and killed him. The lawyers for the younger one are saying that "all he did" was order the pizza , but both of the youts were posing on facebook with the gun a couple of hours befo de robbery. Shouldn't they get an automatic death sentence also? (My opinion is that they should)

I just don't understand why some citizens' lives are considered more valuable than others.

*Also federal government employees

In Texas, the murder of that delivery driver counts as capital murder. Murder of a peace officer or a murder in the commission of another felony offense is capital murder in Texas. As for why murders of LEO’s rate a near automatic death sentence is very simple: They put their lives on the line each and every day they put on their uniforms. They are the thin blue line that stands between the criminal element and law-abiding citizens that just want to live their lives in peace.

In George Orwell’s “Animal Farm” the Soviet Union of Joseph Stalin was portrayed and everyone was told they were ‘equal’ but then they were told some ‘were more equal’.

There should be no special laws saying a crime against someone who is of a racial group, has a different sexual orientation etc. etc. is a more serious crime deserving more punishment.

The same should go for law enforcement-government employees.

I’m a government employee and I don’t think my life is more valuable than the lives of others.

occupied ga actually seems pretty sensible here: when you start increasing the punishment for harming certain citizens based on their career choice, you start not-so-subtly implying that their lives are worth more than average...which leads to the logic that other people are worth less. And that's exactly what results in things like Black Lives Matter being necessary.

There has to be more criminal history on this freak especially if he’s been holding a grudge against the cops over a relatively minor incident at a football game. If not that then what set him off? He’s bound to have a family violence record or bar room brawls.
