Everybody talks about there not being goonmans anymore, but I'm usually in one or two a week and I ignore most goonman announcements. I do generally prefer MM with goons to goonmans though, because more than half the time when I goonman I end up with somebody super mad on my team, or somebody gives up if the other team is ahead of us, or leaves partway through, or any of the number of other reasons I stopped solo queuing in MM.

I think you have to type +right in console to do that and it counts as you not being afk. So if you aren't afk you don't get the leaving penalty. People do it when they don't give a poo poo anymore because the game didn't go they wanted or they wanted to lose in the first place. If someone does it it basically means their soul is poo poo and everything about them is ugly so in a way they're sparing you their company but in another its wasting 30-45 minutes of your recreation time. I think there are ranks you see it more commonly at but there is nothing to be done when it happens unless you kick them to get the bot. Unless you decide to queue in a stack. If your friends do that they aren't really friends.

i reported them about 20 times, once every round they did it. it was just sad to have a 3 stack and still lose to griefers cause the entire rest of the team was griefing and 3 people isnt enough to kick someone

Only question is whether the "talent overload" strategy will actually pay off because it really hasn't so far in CS:GO. Most of the time it seems like the four monster and one puppetmaster approach seems to have worked the best. So long as the puppetmaster isn't total dead weight anyway. Still waiting for the insanely stacked Na'Vi to actually perform better than before, for example.
