I feel like the industry is evolving faster than I can and I year by year get less qualified for new jobs, with little time to train and learn the things I need to know. And my heart isn't in it. I wish I had a degree in history or literature. But I don't have the time or money for that. I'm well off and have many advantages, but I have real trouble giving up any family time. As a future social studies major going into teaching, I wish I was on track to make any money doing what I know I should be doing and which is kind of important and necessary. The labor market blows.

In undergrad it was a constant stream about how humanities courses for the Gen Ed req were such bullshit, and "I don't have time for this soft poo poo I have REAL WORK to do". I am also someone who has known and knocked on doors for Bernie for half of my life. I am supporting Clinton because I actually believe in what Bernie believes in, and so to does Clinton.
