Yeah, the news reports since...basically after the DNC and RNC??? Have all been actually newsworthy aside from the email poo poo and whatever the gently caress the FBI's doing. The only problem is that considering everything that's surrounded Trump for the last full year has just been so baffling and insane, one after the other, exponentially, that everything within the last few months (this last full month in particular) seems boring in comparison. Come next election when normal people are running again and poo poo like this actually sinks them, half of us who are still here will be stunned

I mean, for most of my 35 years of life, I couldn't imagine any populist candidate getting away with relying so heavily on foreign materials. Then again, I couldn't imagine a populist candidate who was born rich. there are ways you try and control for it, but the reality is what you're describing is part of the problem. RDD has issues with cell phones.

There are ways to get around it, but they get expensive and when your response rate is already sub 1% with the group you're controlling for good loving luck.
