I don't think that guy likes multiplayer FPSes. I'm sure CIG, with their illustrious history of making both FPSes and multiplayer games will figure out a way to create one that he likes, though.

Also, to his credit, BF:Hardline was pretty uninspired.

I don't know man, when I think spaceships I admit the image of people mopping the deck instantly comes to mind. Besides, water improves conductivity, that's good for future space electronics.

That's so poo poo I looked up the official twitch stream to verify it was real. Very silly of me because it's CIG so of course it's real.

They can't even handle transitions between the terrible animations. The guy's feet glitch into the new position.

How do you gently caress up mo-cap this badly in 2016?

CIG must be 99% interns at this point.

I can't handle this. I just woke up. I was 100% sure the YouTube video was a joke. How the gently caress is 20 seconds of an untextured hangar with 4 idiots clipping and flaling around "exclusive footage"???!? Footage of what, exactly? Is this indicative of what the final game is going to look like? Why the gently caress would you look at that and think "this will be viewed as an encouraging sign of proper development by people that have give us $100m+ and cut us slack on every self-imposed release date".

This has to be an Andy Kaufman-esque caper. It turns out we're all wrong and Chris Roberts is indeed a genius. I'm sorry for ever doubting him.

I did, I did look at it once [Roberts Inbox]. It's terrifying. He has, probably, has, I think, probably, six or seven thousand unread emails in there. From all areas of development. He has this strange, for me, priority order. He's got his tasks completely jumbled, by message, by timeframe, due date. A whole bunch of random things on his calender. If you ask me, he's overworked. He's underwater on responding to the most basic things. Artists, programmers, any employee is scared to do anything without his approval, so they sit there. Really. I think he's buried. Totally. He's never been rude to me, never been around really, but I can understand why he'd act that way. Pressure.

The idea of the drone flying out and grabbing your ship and piloting it into the dock was a cool idea. I wish other internet space videogames could come up with ideas.
