I think that this Disaster Master is a bit more than he appears, especially with the tensions between Cuco and Almond. That's going to end up being key in this chapter, and in more than a background way.

Well, he's nonthreatening now, but these are the Thousand Fears, i.e., 1000 floors. Even if the first few are total non-issues, every room is a new data point, and if the bunnies tell him what they're afraid of (like Nautilus just told him!), that's even more. He's learning.
