He had ten kids in total that records aknowledge (six that Wikipedia knows of), 4 sons, two died in the civil war, one died in Korea, and the other died in 2007, but he suffered from mental illness from an early age. The two daughters that wiki mentions were female, so fat chance there. I'm guessing the other 4 kids were either daughters, or they were unfit to be publicly acknowledged for various reasons. It's quite likely that he got a whole hell of a lot more women pregnant, but were made to have forced abortions because they would tarnish his reputation. Some of his other lovers likely had not reached puberty yet.

Falun Bong Refugee posted:Umm... Ok. What does that have to do with the weird suit? Recently a 31-year-old man, appropriately surnamed (王), has begun stopping off inside me on his way to and from work--perhaps mistaking me for a convenient alcove or stairway. He squats listlessly, smokes listlessly, and plays with his phone--listlessly. Attempting to appeal to his better nature, I erected signs inside me, of the classic "crossed-out cigarette" kind. If anything, he visits me more frequently now. I came to him one day in a huff, steaming: "What are you doing here? Can't you see the signs? Can't you see how sensitive my soft, yet muscular insides are?" He flicked more ash on the firm, sticky floor of my love canal and said, slowly, without raising his eyes: "Dui bu qi... wo ting bu dong."

Lei Feng, the big hero of the revolution who is on posters everywhere and celebrated, died because someone couldn't drive and slammed a truck into a telephone pole which then hit and killed him. If he existed at all, the stories about him are so full of bullshit and he's such a propaganda figure it's hard to tell if anything is true.

Sun also never actually got a chance to run the country post revolution and generate ill will with particular factions by doing so. If we need to make everything about America, the Confederacy didn't see anything weird about continuing to venerate the founding fathers same as the Union did.

In other news, old Chinese ladies have been just pushing their way in front of me in line at small shops like bakeries and such lately (seriously, this wasn't really a huge problem before), shoving their purchases and a wadded up fistfull of cash at the cashier. I'm going to try this tactic myself later, with the advantages that I'm certainly much better at shoving and fisting than tiny Chinese aunties. Will report back.
