The same could be said of some of the more interesting Hillary/Trump/Stein/Johnson/Jeb! supporters too.

Seeing the electoral college go down in flames wouldn't quite be worth a Trump presidency, but at least we'd get to have interminable arguments over whether the apocalypse was Bernie's fault or not. Yes

gently caress that. We're not going to give credence to false narrative in order to boost party unity or whatever the hell.

Sanders was dogshit at policy. His healthcare proposal would not have survived first contact with a hostile legislature. His economic proposals required a decade of 5% annual growth to be budget neutral.... and we mocked the hell out of ¡Jeb! for 4%. Sanders had zero meaningful, plausible policy.

Sanders was great at rhetoric. He had many inspiring ideas that he either didn't know how to implement or were impossible to do in the way they were presented. Those inspired to engage politically because of Bernie should work to find ways to make his goals achievable. But Dems should not pretend he was anywhere close to winning the race or that he had any value at all on the policy level.

While you're targeting the electorals that are saying "no to Hillary or Trump" I'm talking more about the general issue of believing people must be brought to heel because they agree with someone's views and thus must do as they say and not anything else.

From one of the WA articles it looks like one of the guys was thinking about just getting a stand-in to vote
Which is entirely reasonable.

Holding the vote hostage is a bit unreasonable no matter who you support.
