If anything, this is going to be very exciting.

My advice is to not compound your depression and feelings of alienation with a break from your family. It sounds like they're only the usual brand of silly, instead of legit toxic people that merit cutting out of your life. In times of stress people need their social groups, and that usually includes family.

Nothing. You can totally hold office from a prison cell in the U.S., and can in fact run for office from there too. So I'd imagine his first act of office would be pardoning himself.

From what it sounds like Trump did worse that Romney. The problem is that Hillary did worse than that. The question is why did Democrats stay home in those states since she won the popular vote. Some people are saying it's a refutation of neoliberal Democrats, but if that were the case why do those areas consistently elect Republicans that also perform those same policies?

Yeah a lot of this falls squarely on the DNC that did nothing to stem the tide of lost seats while coasting on Obama's presidency and two lost elections following Bill Clinton. I'm not sure what they could have done but the writing was on the wall (although I don't think anyone saw it coming so harshly) so they should have been doing more than just being the Sensible party since that idea is gone.

Filibuster is gone 100%
