So while the climate and environment are clearly toast, we're headed to massive debt and an even worse recession, Russia conquering Europe and China conquering SE Asia, and voting rights burned, how would they go about challenging Roe v Wade (aside from TRAP laws) and Obergfell? Obviously they will try anything and everything, but I don't immediately see a clear way a case that challenges them could come up from the lower courts.

Serious question: what is going to happen to the MSM? Surely someone who has some kind of power is doing some soul-searching right now.

I'm really bummed out about people I care about who regurgitate Drudge talking points and stuff that's totally false. I recently found out a really good friend of mine who I thought was a redeemable lolbertarian doesn't even believe in climate change. I blame the mainstream media for ignoring the plight of labor for driving people who felt left out of the economy straight into the arms of Breitbart and friends.

The attack from the right that the DNC is comprised of out-of-touch elites who just throw disadvantaged groups a bone every now and then are correct. The only problem is the RNC is comprised of out-of-touch elites who are full-bore FYGM. Well anyway, I've marched with socialists, I voted for Bernie, my conscience is clean. No war but class war.

Obergfell v. Hodges is easy. You have a marriage clerk or probate judge refuse to issue marriage licenses to gay couples, and then have that state's AG appeal the inevitable lower court rulings against up to SCOTUS. The only thing though is that Obergfell was ruled 5-4 while Scalia was still alive, so simply filling his seat with a conservative justice wouldn't suffice. We'd also have to lose a sitting liberal justice to swing the court.

Roe v. Wade would just be a matter of conservative states getting cheeky and pushing more and more restrictive abortion laws until somebody finally sued them, at which point it could get appealed up to SCOTUS.

If you want corruption then boy howdy, Trump is 100% the type to just obliquely do favors and quid-pro-quos right out in the open and just look at you confused if you try to claim it's a conflict of interest. At the very least I can't imagine the Next President Of The United States will go bankrupt, for all the business he's lost over the election a bunch of people are probably going to be looking to buy in now.

When you visit the U.S. you can stay in the President's hotels and gamble in his casinos. Maybe Trump'll get that DC hotel of his finished and have his guests stay there when they visit the White House.

what you would do is have a state or the federal legislature pass some new law that restricts abortion or gay marriage. then that law can be tried in court and scotus can find for the state, legitimizing it and overturning past precedent. there's other ways you could do it as well.
