if you disconnect after handling the limit cut immediately before, and don't reconnect until after the QTE resolves, you spawn back in alive

The context was that I got Toy Alexander and summoned it for the first time, and it spawned half-stuck in the stone. It didn't move until I ran sufficiently far enough away. I want a rideable version of the minion. Like the Gobwalker except more badass.

So I'm pretty sure there's a way to turn off animations from attacks and such of non-party members but I haven't been able to find it, can someone point me towards it? I feel like it'll help a lo to be able to see anything during say Odin fate.
