turns out telling people the truth is really depressing when people don't want to be called completely hopeless so they grasp onto the first thing that gives them a sense of hope. it sure as hell wasn't us because of rich liberals with trust funds talking about intersectionality while ignoring the class aspect of it because that might mean they need to pay some taxes for once
