It includes a scratchy neck and a penchant for breaking windows and doing the ol' snatch and grab routine on a regular basis as witnessed by your guy down the street. Now that you have a tweaker, you may have a few questions. feel free to see the FAQ below and if your question isn't answered, please feel free to call tweakerco. FAQ: Q: My tweaker has been up for days, what should I do? A: Nothing, eventually the lil' guy will tucker out and go to sleep for a day or so, I assure you this is perfectly normal. Q: My tweaker says he's going to get a job and get off meth. A: They all say this from time to time, just ignore it. The chances of that happening are slim to none since a user will be forever enticed by meth, retention is in the lower 90 percentile Q: My tweaker keeps wanting me to give it my toaster to make it work better. A: This is a common misconception tweakers have about fixing things. Don't give them the toaster, might we suggest going to goodwill and getting another to give to it so you can still make toast with yours tomorrow.

There's a composite cable that works with the SNES, N64, and Gamecube. There's a really expensive component cable just for Gamecube. If you don't have one, just buy an early Wii that's gamecube compatible. Raluek posted:Oh, word? I guess a surprising number of those have factory RGB capability, but all the Nintendo stuff I thought was complicated. Are you Miyamoto's RGB NES IRL? Most consoles can output RGB natively, if you know which traces to tap from the graphic chip's outputs before it gets run through the composite (or s-video) conversion. Some people get really into this stuff, there are conversions and stuff available for most consoles: http://retrorgb.com/ The NES is a special case, though. Its graphics chip (the Picture Processing Unit or PPU) actually takes data directly from the console's main memory and generates a composite NTSC/PAL signal directly from that. It's pretty neat, and very resource efficient. The PC-10 version of the NES is a bit special and actually outputs an RGB signal instead, which gives a much clearer picture with better color definition. Rhyno posted:Wasn't there a composite connector for the SNES that also worked on the NES? The NES had standard plugs for RF and composite, it never had a multi-AV port. That started with the SNES, and is compatible with the N64 and Gamecube. keykey posted:As far as I know the composite connector worked between the SNES and Gamecube, but the component cable only worked with the Gamecube. The component cable for the GC only works on first-gen units that have the digital output port. As a consequence, early machines and the official component cable are worth a lot to some people, who want the absolute best output quality, especially if you're in an NTSC region. The PAL GC can output SCART RGB on the normal analog AV port, but the NTSC GC is limited to s-video. The proper component cable was already expensive when it was new, as it contains a DAC and various other electronics to convert the digital signal back to analog component video. I've seen them go for as much as $300 on Ebay now. I've actually got an early PAL Gamecube, but I just use my Wii instead, since I don't have any of the GC-exclusive addons.

Woke up at midnight to a 7.8 magnitude earthquake a few hundred K's away, house shook a bit but no damage. 12:02am is not a good time to be considering your earthquake insurance cover when you've just bought a new brick house. It's also not a great time to consider your disaster preparedness. I live about 20-30km from the Alpine Fault which will be a big one when it goes, fortunately this wasn't it.
