What a wonderful contrast to those Assassins Creed and Rogue One posters.

An art exhibit featuring movie posters for sequels that never happened.

I like the subtle sequel nod in the Who Shot Roger Rabbit poster: Yogi Bear, meaning this would likely be taking place in the '60s.

Yeah they could've solved the jarring split issue by gradually adding the reflection/shadows to the water in front of the mountains in the foreground. Because the sun is behind the mountains, they would cast shadows forward into the scene. The water would also reflect the background at least faintly.

That way you break the strong horizontal line and add a bit of a transition in tone.

This takes place before A New Hope.

Anyway it's General Dolby Cinema. He runs the rebellion with his droid: THX.

That Kong poster is really cool and I like the trailer too, there's a lot of good actors and it strikes a good tone for a monster movie, serious enough to care about the stakes but fun enough that you can buy the idea of an island full of monsters.

Hey my money is on Tom Hiddlestone and Brie Larson making it and they could be interesting characters.

Sam Jackson is likely the first to go when they encounter the skullcrawlers or w/e. Hopefully after some big speech ala Deep Blue Sea.

That's what one might expect it to look like, but reality disagrees at that angle/distance. There's little realistic "faint shadow/reflection" middleground to add.
