Rowlet! You can get a fairy slug later. Rowlett is too adorable to pass up, no alcoholic nose or anything. The grass actually looks like grass, it has a fade in to other terrain. Very nice.

Other regions have done it but it never really felt right, with this one everyone's just casually battling, talking about new moves and junk they want to try, getting your first pokemon is played as some sacred event where the pokemon has to accept you too, all that.
