i use safari because i like having a battery and <100% cpu pretty sure chrome wore down my battery over three years to the point where i had to replace it, too

safari just gets progressively slower the more i use it. had to switch back to chrome because i don't want to wait 15s for it to resolve DNS queries after unlocking my laptop
