https://twitter.com/futurecanon/status/800100563128111104 It's fine, Amber and Matt are the token "real Americans" on Team Chapo anyway. Will being related to a Soviet double agent is so much funnier than him being bouge. Neon Belly posted:Weren't the Young Turks also the group that led the genocide? Maybe naming the show after them wasn't the best of ideas. Killing millions makes a name inappropriate, killing thousands makes a name funny.

"Tell Your God to Ready for Chud" is a pretty great episode (though perhaps a bit crowded), some on-point analysis that's a bit more detached than the immediate post-election ep.

there's definitely something wrong with his physiology. like, he has Torgo from Manos Hands of Fate legs or something. he's a native to the uncanny valley. I wonder what horror crawls underneath that potato skin.

Also why the gently caress is he wearing a thick winter coat in midsummer Cleveland heat? My guess is he's covering up an embarrassing pair of man tits.

Speaking of their backgrounds I recently came across Will's episode of the Nostalgia Trap, done pre-Chapo, and he mentions something that I don't think ever comes up on the show: one set of his I think great-grandparents were actual socialist revolutionaries who immigrated to America and tried to run a communal farm, which failed, and a socialized factory, where a business partner usurped them.

Matt is the closest to working class, but even he is from the academic world, Will was in the literary world, and Felix came from a decently wealthy upper middle class Jewish neighborhood (as far as I can tell) That said, gently caress the hacks. The Chapo boys are using their privilege earnestly to try to change things, even if they shroud it in irony.

There's an episode about this where they take Charles Murray's quiz about living in a bubble; Matt's upbringing was much more rural-America than the others.
