Yeah I had to do some shenanigans in addition to this (root+gltools) but I got it to run in the end. It's not the smoothest experience and it overheats the tablet like crazy, but it's there. If you google around you'll find instructions for it.

Has anyone heard about any black friday sales on the Play Store? There's a couple of games I have been eyeing, but I would hate to drop  and see a price drop less than a week later. I've tried searching for info about previous black friday sales, but all i get is a bunch of "black friday apps" on the Play Store.

Yeah, I Googled it and it's because the game doesent have support for the TEGRA chip that Nvidia uses in the shield basically. The work around involves rooting your device and using an app that tricks the game into thinking it's running on another chipset. Meh.

I didn't see any suggestions for multiplayer fps games in the OP (probably for a reason  ) but I was wondering if anyone has played anything not too terribly broken. Hopefully there's something that doesn't have $50 in game guns and stuff.  Anything goofy fun like TF2? I hear Modern Combat 5 and Critical Strike are decent, but I don't know. I don't think it's about it being difficult, it's just the least fun to (re)play, because you can't blow poo poo up. Supposedly there's a card that changes the disabling grid to a chasing bullet you need to dodge the whole stage, but I haven't found it yet.

I'm stuck on level two in Skyforce (got it working) because I need one more star to be able to play level 3, the only attainable star is the Save Everyone star in 2, and I lack the firepower to consistently hoover up all the humans and survive doing so. Which means grinding currency at a rate of ~50-75 a run, which barely puts a dent into upgrade costs. Is this the game in a nutshell? You can get medals to unlock new levels from any of the old levels, not just the previous one. Also when you get all the medals on a difficulty, a new difficulty opens up on that level with 4 more medals to unlock.

Adding everybody on the list. My number is 01 45 87 32. Also for people wondering how to get those highscores in the tournament; go for rescuing people. Especially on the level with the geometric shapes you can theoretically keep this up forever by avoiding everything else after two or three laps (it's harder on the levels with homing missiles and guns that actively aim at you). If you keep the chain going it adds 100 points per survivor. After a couple of laps you get 10000+ points per survivor which easily beats the killing chain which gives 160k points for reaching 'dominating' and I don't really see anyone reaching the next level.
