Breeding a ton of female saladits (sp?) was a great idea, I get pretty much anything for them. Haven't tried for a legendary yet, but everything else worked!

Silvally also has some rather varied type coverage in his movepool and TMs, as well as the ability to be taught Draco Meteor. It doesn't look like the most competitive Pokemon, but it could work if you need one type on offense and a completely different one on defense.

Did anyone else completely lose it at *minor spoilers for after beating Mallow*the Slowpoke reaction shots at Memorial Hill? I just couldn't stop laughing. I kept thinking they wouldn't do it again and it kept getting me "Lo-low?!"

Do we ever learn anything more about the guy who gives us Sharpedo Jet? This game is full of places, characters, and ideas that show up for all of five seconds and are never heard from again, or are shuffled off to the post-game to still be pretty darn cryptic. It's obvious they're planning the "third version" to be more like B/W 2 (or else Gen 8 is going to revisit Alola somehow), though not necessarily split into two versions. Considering how little we know about much of the cast and how many hints were dropped relating to people's pasts without actually explaining a drat thing, they could just as easily make a prequel rather than a sequel, or hell, Game Freak's crazy enough to do both somehow.

I'm surprised at how many people bang their heads against a wall trying to catch things like Sableye or Feebas. The GTS bypasses all that nonsense. If you have a compatible internet connection there's no reason not to use it. Just deposit something remotely valuable (version exclusives, starters, late game exclusives, etc) and someone else will have caught that annoyingly rare Pokémon for you.

He was the Dark-type specialist and I completely forgot who he was until just now. The Unova E4 is easily the least memorable in the franchise, likely because they're basically an afterthought, your first bout with them is deliberately made easier as prelude to N's Castle, and your "official" battles with them are all technically post-game. And yeah, I didn't recognize him at all in his new getup. Gen V is basically the Team Skull Berry Thieves except for a whole game.

Kommo-o seems interesting. It seems like it could run a lot of different sets with the stats it has. You've got dragon dance, of course, but also some sort of non-dancing mixed set could work too (cause draco meteor off that decent Sp. Atk could be pretty brutal to any physical walls who think they might be able to stop it). Getting both flash cannon and poison jab means that it has options against potential fairy switch-ins, would be the obvious counter choice. The speed is a problem of course, but it has a lot of resists and good defensive stats. I'm honestly not sure which of its abilities is best. Immunity to spore is of course really nice to have, but there are a lot of common moves that get no-selled by bulletproof and allow a safe switch-in, so I'm inclined to favor that one. Soundproof mainly just clowns on Primarina.
